    So for another $200 you get some double stitching and no loose threads... sweet deal, better get two pair.

    I'd be more impressed if you'd tested the material rip-strength.

    Got some replicas for $50, pretty happy because no pants should cost $300

      Update. I been wearing the replicas pretty much every day for 2 months. No problems at all! Very good quality

      Why dont you wear normal jeans? They have the same level of protection and you can buy them for $25.

      Uh ok....Personally would rather get in a wreck in 330 dollar jeans that are 330 dollars jean shaped protective gear as opposed to fashionably styled pants 😂...you're paying for proven safety gear....which I promise fucking matters in a wreck...if you just want fashionable moto jeans go to gstar or. Idfk forever 21 😂..protection go to uglybros... 😑 each piece of the jeans functions has a purpose if you ride...if you walk around the mall I guess the duplicates are pretty good...that said just bought 3 pairs of authentic uglybros, as always great quality, worth the pricetag....love them, keep up the good work Montclair

    I live in canada so skin grafts and other medical expenses are free... Is regular denim good for me in this case?

    Would love to own three, four pair of these but for $330.00 you can keep them. Sad.

    Interesting comparison! Thanks for taking the time.
    Protection wise, did you notice any difference other than the fake pads?

    Where did you buy the knock offs? I’d like a pair. Can’t afford 330 dollar jeans

    Nice jeans. Would totally cop one if I could find a store that sold them near me. Being inbetween sizes, online fitting is a nightmare for me.

      Austin, TX. I saw the retailers page has a store in Dallas, but I didn't see any pants on their site, so idk if they have any in their store.

      Jaziro Gotcha. I say their sizing is pretty spot on as long as you know that it has a slim/skinny fit (for most). They do have some that are a bit more relaxed.

      Montclair Riding Co. Got them in. Jeans are nice. Feels like good quality. Stretches all in the right places and cool enough to wear around and not get hot.

    Here's my one problem with this comparison.. You said Uglybros from China are fake and the orginal are only from the good old USA. But you can clearly see on the tag of the orginal black colour jeans that it is made in Korea.

    • @montclairridingco.2290
      @montclairridingco.2290  6 років тому

      Lalbiakenga Chhangte Good pointing out. However, Ugly Bros. is Korean based and that’s where they are made. As of today, nowhere else is it licensed to produce their product. Please help us understand your problem. Thank you.

    I have a pair of these...was my first riding pants I bought. These are still made with standard denim, correct? Would be nice to see a more protective material like woven kevlar (not as a liner) or Dyneema. I've moved on to Saint brand Dyneema/denim blend for the 4+ sec drag performance.

    • @syer16

      TornadoCAN99 Yes they make standard denim and Kevlar as well. We also carry Saint too. Both are excellent pants and I wear both.

    Can you talk about sizing? Is it close to normal trouser size? I.e. US waist size = ugly bros waist size?

    • @montclairridingco.2290
      @montclairridingco.2290  8 років тому +1

      I would say it would run true to size. Keep in mind that it is slim fit. It has stretch fabric, ribbed knee and back elastic reinforcements. This makes it very comfortable with the the goal of motorcycle egros and protection a priority. To put it in perspective, this has similar cuts to the Levis 511 pants. I'm normally a 32" waist in those those and I wear the Motorpool 32" with no problem. This cut makes the pants easy to tuck inside or outside for that perfect shoe/boot look. I wore these with Stylmartin Indians, Red Wing Moc Toes, and Vans. Each looked correct no matter how I rocked it. They would even pair up nicely with a basic Tee, J's, or the trending running kicks. Sorry, I'm too passionate about these pants. I wear these even when I'm not riding. Truly worth it.

      Thanks for the detail and speedy reply! Any experience with aether compass trousers? I am thinking between ugly bro and aether. I wear size us 36, so not sure slim fit would work for me, but I love the look and it might go well with my thruxton.

      +Sang Lee How I wish you asked earlier. I was by their store in NYC today. I cannot comment on their pants at the moment. However, you can try ours to see if you like it. If you are not satisfied, we will accept returns and credit you back (as long as the tags and in the same condition). Try it out. Thanks.

      Montclair Riding Co. What is the slide test rating on motorpool pants? And what reassurance is there that the protection the material has is worth the price? Thanks
