  • The BP Energy Outlook 2035 is our 2014 projection for the world's energy future.
This year's outlook reveals that global energy demand continues to grow but that growth is slowing and will mainly be driven by emerging economies - led by China and India.
Shares of the major fossil fuels are converging, with oil, natural gas and coal each expected to make up around 27 per cent of the total mix by 2035 and the remaining share coming from nuclear, hydroelectricity and renewables.
Watch the video to see what else 2035 could bring for the energy industry. To find out more about the BP Energy Outlook 2035, visit www.bp.com/ener...

    BP,
We can't blame you for your great business, it provides us energy, it's been around a long time and employes some wonderful people. I know you're not evil, you're human beings like the rest of us. We used to not know what burning fossils fuels would do, but now we do and we're seeing the effects! We know now, scientists are screaming "stop!". YOU know now how bad it is for everyone. This is a serious problem and needs to be solved immediately.
You made over $13 billion in profit last year and have $23 billion in your reserves. You have the money and power, we need you to be the EXAMPLE for the industry! Please, this problem is not going to be solved from some guy like me begging, it's going to have to be from you. You can be the HERO we need! Please I'm begging you, make drastic shifts towards renewable energy sources. Stop paying millions for lobbyists in Washington to give you more tax cuts and less regulation. Batteries are becoming better and better, we can store energy from wind and solar! With your money, we could make batteries even better :)
I know it's a business, I know you have shareholders to think about. But consider 100 years from now (your grandchildren), history is judging what you do right now. Right now, you are considered one of the most evil corporations on Earth. Do you want that legacy? Please, money is just paper.
    Thanks for reading this far!

Thank god for you! I am studying global energy consumption for A-level and have my exam on Monday! Energy is my favourite subject, and knowing this is going to be such a help. Thank you!

So, BP, are you going to give us a video about the recent spill you caused in Lake Michigan?

I highly doubt that China and India will slow in oil consumption and that renewable energy will be competitive at all. Again I like the video. Also I like your gas station a lot, they're a lot cleaner and a lot more bright in light and color than the others. Still it is ashamed of the tragedy of what happen a while ago. I will be a lot happier customer if BP be a lot safer. Thanks for the video though.

BP They also update their profit outlook every day and allow speculators to control the market, along with WALL STREET, all to make BILLIONS and then get Tax payer funded subsidies of BILLIONS. We pay them to charge us MORE.

If only the US can convince the emerging economies to cut back on the use of Fossil fuels and use renewable energy, then there will be much more oil to go around. If the whole world starts using Oil, then there will come a time when it runs out and then what do we do then.
