First 🥳😁. Thanks for waking up early to show us around Sao Pedro do Sul. The park with the trees looks like a perfect spot for a picnic. Added to my bucket list place to visit especially for the hot springs. A very nice town. Well kept. Excited for the next video, and the hidden gem…
I love the whole Viseu, it is peaceful and beautiful. Thank you for showing more beautiful footage of my country :) I will be moving back to Portugal on the 6th July after being in the UK for 10 years, and I must say I terribly miss the air, food and these beautiful places. Your videos bring me peace, you have a good eye for vlogs!
Hazel ☘️ … Thumbs up again Luise and co ! I reckon I could put all your travel vlogs into a hat and pick one to live in … each place you visit has many lovely aspects … you look like you three had good fun ! 🙏☘️😘
Thank you Louise for another wonderful vlog I do enjoy them lots of a Sunday . We live in Porto and haven't visit Viseu district yet sadly. Soon my daughter will be visiting and I'd love to show her this area which I'm sure she will love. Do you have a link for the air b&b please ? Take care and enjoy yourselves lots of love Lesley. X
Ahhh the views from the air B&B are beautiful, I looked to see if available while we are in Portugal but it’s not (my daughter and I are travelling around at the moment looking for land and a ruin, we are in Capinha, nr Fundao at the moment, we love it here). I was hoping there was going be a video where we will be visiting next and there was! Love your videos! I know you like the Fundao area, we seem similar tastes in appreciation of countryside, please can you recommend some picturesque rural areas we can visit in Coimbra /Viseau /Tomar area, if any spring to mind? Kind regards Mercedes 😃
@@Solo50plus oh yes, they look stunningly beautiful, which is why we are planning the next part of the road trip around this region. Thanks to you, until I found your vlogs, I had not seen what the countryside looks like there. I’m plotting our itinerary around your videos 😃
Hi Mercedes. There’s a lot of beautiful villages around São Pedro do Sul and Vouzela. Ventosa, Real das Donas, Figueiredo das Donas, Cambra are some nice villages where anyone will have peace and quality of life, surrounded by nature and not far away from amenities of bigger cities.
@@Nagolobo2023 Hi Silvia, thank you so very much, I will make a note of all those villages and visit next time! It’s hard to know where to pin point when off the beaten track, so your reply is very much appreciated. 😃
Hi Louise , you sound so happy in Portugal exploring the sites and places . Did you settle down in your favourite place and did you get your resident status ? Let us know so we can come to visit you . Your video is amazing . The place is so nice and clean well maintained . Thank you so much for showing us . Have a great time . Best wishes from Italy 🇮🇹😘🤗
Having family around makes all the difference. I got my residency well over a year ago. I haven't got a permanent place yet ...I still manage to meet up with people though 😊
Hi Louise, thanks for another fun and interesting video. The drive through the town made me think about parking. I'll be visiting Portugal soon and parking information would be useful. Is there an app for parking throughout the country?
What kind of info did you have in mind? Parking is straight forward and quite easy. Sorry I don’t know anything about signs and restrictions so could really advice.
Love the vlog, Thankyou 🌻🌻 I’m Looking at property in that district but only online at the moment…unless I’m being a techno Phobe…I could not tap into the link for the air bnb u stayed in…could I get it from you please would definitely like to visit…it looked beautiful 🙏☀️🌻
We are contemplating between hiring a car or the motorhome. Road tolls are much more expensive for the motorhome vs a car. How easy is to avoid road tolls? Another concern is the heat and if my mother will be able to cope in the motorhome but that’s another matter.
@@Solo50plus I’m sorry. I noticed the sound of road traffic in many if not most of the scenes and wondered if that was a recording quirk or representative of the noise pollution you were conscious of. Thank you

Not sure why the link hasn't worked for you. Try cut and paste or you can always go direct to the website that gave also.

I don´t really try to avoid them but I mentioned this in my video on paying for tolls. You my find it useful to take a look.
@@Solo50plus Thanks, will check the toll video again.
Louise, how does Viseu compare to Braganca? In terms of geography and weather? Do you have any sense of rental pricing between the two areas?
I was only in both areas for a short time so don't know how they compare. I haven't looked at rental prices.
Turn your sound up
Noted!
Nêsperas you said it .
Is there a dominance of traffic noise?
Dominance over what?

The Sound/volume is really low.
That’s because people usually complain the music is too loud!! 🤦🏽♀️ Nothing I can do about the rest of the sound!!
Did you go to São Pedro do Sul water thermal springs for a massage
No... despite the lady in the tourist office saying it's a must-do.
