    That seamless slide is crazy. My 19 Mountain Aire has the same tile on the slides and is flush, but there is a 1 1/2" piece of rubber where they come together.

      We love it. It makes the whole space seem like one. The floors look fantastic. Thanks for watching.

    We'll see how the quality control drops now that Newmar was purchased by Winnebago.

      You are right the future will tell. They say they aren't changing the way the Newmars are built which would make good sense cause that's what sells them. It is possible that Winnebago can make Newmar more profitable just because of their immense buying power on parts and materials. We shall see. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts.

    Little worried we are to pick up our 2021 3014 Bay Star soon but we are seeing a lot of water damage due to very sloppy plumbing. One lady is on her third flooding in 4 months one was the day they picked it up second one was from the they picked it up from the first repair.

      We hear your concerns. It is hard to know and when we hear things from others whether they are on forums or in person it can make you nervous. One rule of thumb we use is to look around a lot and read and listen to lots of folks' opinions on their new rigs. How many of them are having this kind of problem? If you are finding that lots of folks are having the same problem then it is something to worry about. If you find only one complaint then it is more than likely a one off situation. Still not good but not necessarily something you would expect to happen to you. When you pick up your rig, expect and insist to spend quite awhile going through your rig and learning about every system. Go through the rig with a fine toothed comb. Some dealerships allow you to stay overnight and use everything . Check all of the lines you can see. There is no guarantees but do the best you can. Then you just have to use it and keep an eye open for all sorts of problems that can arise but don't obsess about them so much that you don't enjoy using your new RV. Have fun with it. Hope that helps some. Thanks for watching

      @@DoesSizeMatter you should build your own RV cause y'all are straight up experts!!!!!!!!!

      That's kind of you to say but we are just 2 people loving RVs and wanting to share what we do know with you and we hope our knowledge combined with facts from other sources will help folks find the best RV for them and their RV Lifestyle. As for building one, hmmm, sounds like too much work but it would be cool to be able to customize one, although I like them all so mine would have to be some type of expandable, shrinkable thing. I would need more then a button I would need a magic wand! haha

    Great construction video, just a clarification with the 2020/2021 model year, the Ford F-53 Motor Home chassis with the new 7.3L V-8 will be mated to the current TorquShift 6R140 6 speed transmission, not the 10 speed.

    Just a slight correction or oversight. Newmar's comfort drive is available only on the diesel models.

      From what we have found that is correct. Thanks for making that more clear.

      Ya I think that is a really good point. When a rig is built well to begin with it can last and have good resale value. Thanks for sharing your experience and watching.

    I would think that an enclosed box frame is much stronger than a perforated 3/4... Tiffin should just shoot the tube with foam insulation and bam a lot better.. Nice video though, it's hard to find a factory tour or other construction videos about a Newmar that isn't put out by Newmar, which basically it just repeating what Newmar has put out already, as only a engineer could really comment unbiasly on the actual validity of the manufactures claims..

      You are entitled to your opinion, we are not sure what Tiffin is doing as we have not researched their product yet, but we will get to it. Glad you liked the video we put a lot of time and effort into our research and obtain as much info as we can from as many sources as possible then we share that information with folks to help them out to make their own decisions. Thanks for watching.

      Mount Comfort has a great video detailing the construction and explains why my Newmar can be in Vegas summers and stay cool inside. When I leave the thermostat sets to 85 and it gets back to my 73 preference in just a few minutes. 105 outside now and the ACs aren't being overworked.

    Need to have an actual cut away model of what is being explained. This is a poor demonstration.

    • @DoesSizeMatter
      @DoesSizeMatter 2 роки тому +1

      It would be lovely to include a cut away and if one is ever available we will include it but until such a time we will not hold out on doing reviews waiting for one. Thanks for watching.
