I am not sure but it seems your model, idea pad 320 comes with M.2 slot. So it would be far better if you opt for NVMe M.2 SSD. In that way, you can use both SATA & this boot drive together ✌🏻

Make sure ke app dursi ek separate physical SSD se ispe copy paste check kar rahe ho.
If you are copying between same physical SSD, speed gets divided aur adhi milegi.

We would have loved to see for ourselves but unfortunately it would void the warranty.
If you may notice, it has a warranty sticker wrapped around it. Can't open it without tearing that thing.
We are an independent channel, this drive is purchased out of our own funds and we plan to use it for one of our server projects.
So really sorry, unfortunately we couldn't do it.

Yes, for light tasks, 8GB is sufficient. But HDD par boot time ghatiya hain

No, this drive doesn't come with DRAM Cache, matter of its a waste for Sata interface since it is by design limited at 550mbps theoretical port speed. DRAM Cache will be useful for NVMe interface drives.
We have discussed about the TBW in the video, company doesn't disclose the information but 5 years replacement warranty given
For 500GB segment, if you prefer branded then give Crucial is similarly priced for their value series SATA SSD BX480. Didn't notice any difference between these two in terms of real world performance

Tough choice.
There are two different Crucial Models, MX & BX series.
MX series are their premium product, much costly over the BX series.
Between BX & Consistent, I have both, and performance is just identical.
So if you are considering MX, then buy Crucial but between BX & Consistent, choose what you prefer, performance is similar.

as you see in graph other ssd is bottlenecking it while reading
It's a WD SN570. It is a NVMe drive with right speed close to 2300 mbps where as this drive which we are testing is a SATA-III interface with MAX read speed of 550mbps.
Obviously this SATA interface will bottleneck a NVMe drive.

Company hasn't released any data on their sheet, so no official information available
However, 5 years replacement warranty given & performance is on the higher side
That way, you can do an educated guess that TBW should be at par with other stronger brands.
However, as we mentioned in the video, TBW is just an indicator. Always use mirroring for critical data
Premature failure or degradation of before TBW will allow you warranty claim on the hardware but your data isn't protected by the warranty clause
Think on the flipside, no TBW based 5 years warranty is perfect for high write operation jobs, since you can eat up a drive within 1 or 2 years & get two different warranty within the 5 years time frame
If you were locked behind TBW, warranty can be rejected for exceeding that

Hi,
For normal people, NO. If a drive is dead you can't recover data. If the drive is alive and you mistakenly deleted or formatted it, then you still can try software based recovery.
But if you have money, there are specialized labs offering data recovery services for large business and govt agencies, there it costs huge money but some amount of data retrial is possible.

Don't buy consistent SSD my data got curupted 2 times on consistent SSD they will replace the SSD 3-4 times but you will loose data 3-4 times which is more costly then SSD

When it comes to active data safety, its better to invest for RAID Mirror setup with multiple disc. Since no matter the brand, electrics will fail.
Mirror RAID & seperate off site backup > only way for data safety

If you felt the review is biased, then sorry to disappoint you.
But truth is, data safety is something totally different. Even if you buy very expensive brand, still they won't guarantee the data but only the disc.
Point is RAID Mirror. Having two or more disc with mirrored setup is the only way for a guaranteed data safety.
