- Is a church near you at risk of having its bank accounts canceled?
Based on the experience of Memphis-based Servants of Christ, the answer is yes.
In 2023, Bank of America abruptly canceled the church’s bank account. It also closed two other accounts, including one belonging to a charity the church supports, Indigenous Advance Ministries, which serves widows and orphans in Uganda.
The suddenness of the bank’s decision created a logistical nightmare for Indigenous Advance, which had to tell its nine Ugandan employees to wait an extra week to receive a paycheck they depend upon for survival.
Like many of their countrymen, these Ugandans don’t live paycheck to paycheck. They live meal to meal. Waiting an extra week for a paycheck in Uganda can be the difference between eating and going hungry.

Attacking people that are generous and caring, and at the cost of lives, shows how evil people are being.
Umm, many of these groups - and the ADF - are classified as hate groups. And this video doesn’t explain the whole truth of what these organizations do. Educate yourself
It's the ones who are "classifying" these groups as "hate" groups, who are actually hate groups themselves.
Bank of America de-banked Nick Vujicic and his organization, Life Without Limits. Which is also the title of his book, for his views on abortion and everyone has value!

people should not use a bank to begin with!
Unless you are in bed with one, you deserve a credit union.
Big Banks are global banks, and use your money that way.
Credit Unions, on the other hand, are local, invest locally, holds and uses your money in their care locally. Isn't that really what we all want?

Are you really drinking the Kool Aid? Some of these accounts were cancelled because they have poor credit ratings and were unstable. There are legit reasons for other cancellations.
If BofA was so discriminatory, wouldn’t they have cancelled accounts such as ADF’s or other radical conservative organizations?
This is just more hysteria from the ADF - one of the most reactionary and hateful organizations in the country.m
