Thanks for compiling and uploading Charlie's Arsenal goals. He was my favourite Arsenal player after he signed from Celtic. Iconic 80's footballer who looked like a rock star and played with passion & flair and stylish hair.
Impressed with Highbury at that time, when many stadiums had put up big fences to keep fans out, there was no fence at Highbury, and fans managed to stay in their seats (for the most part)
Some good goals, some scruffy ones and tap ins.But considering his promising time at Celtic hardly a great haul over his Arsenal career.Clearly inspired at times.Riminds me of Ramsey,a player capable of momentary brilliance but frustratingly quiet much of the time both with injury issues.
Charlie, Nicholas started the revival of Arsenal. you put us on the back page and the front page Terry Neil then George Graham coming before that people were going to chapel market big signs in the hairdressers saying we do Charlie We was getting 14,000 at home first away game was wolves sold out away fans and untold gunners everywhere. One nil down to one up. Charlie scored both goals. Arsenal are back
given time and space he would hurt the opposition. Maybe a case of right player wrong time he would have been great for the Arsenal 4/5 seasons earlier
Arsenal and Celtic legend. 👍👍
Charlie got his first 2 Arsenal goals away at Wolves 29th august 1983. Shame there's no video of those around
I was there
Skillful player & a Highbury darling always😊
Charlie Nicholas wasn’t bad you know for the Gunners when we signed him from Celtic thirty nine years ago.

Saw Charlie score both goals against Norwich at Highbury when i visited my good friend in London from Glasgow. 🍀🏴
I was nearly 10 in 1987. 18:21 was when I started to follow Arsenal and been a fan ever since

We loved Charlie at ARSENAL
The darling of the northbank

The year after Arsenal sold him they won the league. Enough said
