TERRA WILLY is the animation movie by Eric Tosti.
PLOT: Upon the destruction of their ship, Willy is separated from his parents. He lands on a wild and unexplored planet and with the help of Buck, a survival robot, he will have to hold until the arrival of a rescue mission.

I have to admit, this film was a genuine surprise. I went in expecting it to be okay at best, but it's actually really charming.

99% animation 1% sound mixing. The characters talk over each other. They don't let each other finish what they're saying like it's oblivion dialogue.

@@DDName That would make sense, but at that point I'd rather have the native dialogue and just read subtitles. The lip sync throws me through a loop.

If your far away on another planet like 500 light years away on earth does that mean 500 years passed on earth and the same time on earth

I want to make a VR game like what he was playing on his skateboard.
This was an amazing movie. I mean the 10 year old was pretty realistic! He was scared and terrified but still try to put his composure becuase he understood that it was the best he could do. Seriously great with the characters

The sound design SCREAMS Wall-e and I love it.
This is "Terra Willy" in the original French. In English, it's "Astro Kid."
That name rings all sorts of bells and covers a lot of nostalgia, however I am not too sure the name will stick with me well.

Yeah. The humor in the movie was good. (Especially enjoyed Buck's interesting interpretations of human behavior. Such as giving the kid a flamethrower to improve his mood and being like, "Mission accomplished.")

Animation looks great, the voice acting needs some help, especially the mom's VA.
The dialogue doesn't quit match up with the lip flaps. If I had to make a guess, it was originally in another language before getting a dub. It would also explain why certain sentences are practically overlapping, the English sentences are longer than the foreign-language ones
I would spill good money for a sequel for this movie

I was a little confused at first as I know this film as Astro Kid and completely understand why the name was changed, Terra Willy just sounds wrong and extremely funny lol. I was surprised by how good the film was, thoroughly enjoyed watching it :)

Yeah but I loved it when I saw it before the US release last year in May 2020. It got really deep and I especially enjoyed William, Flash, Buck and everyone else.

I like this very much. The character designs are nice and I like a lot of the technology we see being used- a lot of interesting ideas.
However I do have one minor criticism. At around 2:19 in the video, where Willy asks, “Can I first finish this level?” the “first” should actually come at the end: “Can I finish this level first?” That’s how that question is usually asked in English. I saw a release date for France in the description and while I’m not fluent in French, I assume that the word order in that line was originally from French.
It’s not a *huge* deal, just something to note.
To be fair though, it wouldn't be the first time a kid scrambled the word order on something, either from still learning or simply being weird because they can
