I have had terrible luck with carrier bearings, so i fill the carrier bearing bellows with 3m window weld. Basically makes a solid polyurethane bushing and they last much longer than stock.
2 piece keeps it tucked up a bit more too. Before you put that new bearing in pop the seal off and put some good grease in. Bet there isn't more than 1/3 of a teaspoon.
Gonna swap back to an oem carrier bearing and stay with the 2 piece. Tons of vibration with the solid carrier bearing and 1 think a 1 piece would eventually vibrate as well.
@ 12:00 into the video.... "Close enough!👌🏼" LMFAO!
Hahaha I knew someone would enjoy that 😂😂

Yeah I agree. Good call I’ll have to check that before installing!
Do you have a part number for those new inner seals? Need to do the same job on mine. Right outer wheel bearing bad also 🤣🤦🏻♂️
Haha it must be a Tacoma thing! They’re kingpin inner axle seals PN 36487
Do you have an adjustable proportioning valve for the rear brakes?
I just got one last week it’ll be going on asap.
One piece driveshaft would be mint!
