Where did you find this guy David? Erjan not only knows nothing about Albanian history but he also lies about the geography. That is not Tomorr mountain and he knows it very well. Tomorr is in Berat. The ones in Korce are Morava and Gramoz mountains.
Good morning David love watching your videos. It's 3:30am here in south Carolina, I'm heading to bed. Got church in the morning . Hope you have a great day . I'll rewatch it when I get up .
Such a beautiful city. How clean it is. No litter at all. The lady going to crochet another one in blue. Now that is service. I love how you always buy gifts for your children, they must have some collection now. Great video. Very relaxing. 🌿🌿🍃💚🥀💚🍃🌿🌿
Albanian language was spoken since illyrian times but during the ottoman period they did not allowed albanians to have their own schools or teach their language who ever was caught was hanged and so many albanians teachers were killed by ottomans during the 500 years of occupation
There was NO Ottoman schools in Our territorys, unless they were RELIGIOUS SCHOOLS. Christianity taught ALBANIAN, Islam tought TURKISH, ORTHODOXY Taught Albanian, until The arrival of ANATOLIAN GREEKS. and then it become only ANATOLIAN. until we opened our owne schools, but we weren't all lucky enough to have them for long. The once in Graecia Greece were closed immediately after Europeans came in, they chose ANATOLIAN GREEK As a language to be spoken in Greece, now we have no Arvanite SCHOOLS here in Graecia Greece.
Dear David, I would like to thank you for your incredible high quality content, especially the one concerning your trip to Albania. It is amazing how you have chosen to show specific real local and authentic places, so thank you very much. I am a big fan of food youtubers and to be honest, your season about Albania it is really dificult to overcome. I was already interested in the Balkans and specifically in Albania, and you have managed to show all the things and aspects that make this unknown and forgotten country great. In addition, I just can express how amazing these farms to table, mountain food looks, it looks awesome! Thank you for your dedication and hard work. I do believe your Albania season has something special, maybe was your content, also how the country is and what you show, in my opinion both! Thanks a lot for your hard work and this long season of videos which each of them has something to offer!
Trahana was my favorite breakfast as a child! My brother and I would help my mother and grandmother to make it in the summer. Once it was fully dried, we would eat it the rest of the year. We had it as breakfast porridge or as a dinner soup made with tomatoes, chicken, olive oil and crumbled feta. How I miss those times 😢
thanks bro...my family in australia still makes trahan..seems like peasant food...simple, but this food helped albanians survive countless invasions! 🇦🇱👐❤
Hopefully summer 2021 will be better then 2020 and we will visit some of those beautiful places you showed us from Albania. Thanks David Hoffmanni The "I" in the last name so it sounds Albanian for the trip. Ooo by the way, are you back home?
17.20 Albanian langiuage was spoken all the time, but was prohibited for centuries to learn and to write in Albanian. That was done by every means, by the otomans and certain clergy of the Costandinopole Church, most of the time in coordination. Albanian language, to my relatively modest knowledge, is the only language to have martirs!!!
Your knowledge is correct. The use of the Albanian language was forbiden by the ottomans with a ferman of the Sultan and was accursed by the Patriarchate of Instanbul.
More interesting in the first two minutes than the dog crap video I just wasted my time watching before this, where all I learned about this fascinating city was the gym he went to and what he ate for breakfast. Thanks for producing an informative video that facilitates the learning about the history, culture and foods of a place and not this 'aesthetic' nouveau-UA-camr skidmarkery. Kudos to you, man. I'm going to watch more of your videos 👍🏽
Hi, I am from Korca and I advise you to leave the center and get to the other places around. I have never been in hani i pazarit or in gallery because they are tourist traps. You can go to to the Morava mountain, which was called Tomorr by your guide. Dardha and Voskopoja are awesome too. I hope I meet you next time!
You might be able to see Mt Tomorr from the tower they were on in Korçë. The back side of Tomorr is 30 miles from Panarit Korça. No one goes that way; no roads
Great job man. I want to know the name of the young Chef. He did an incredible job putting everything together, balancing the flavors, presentation along with preserving the tradition. I'd like to see this guy famous why not with a Michelin Star on his chest.
That is definitely not the Tomor Mountain 😂. It’s Gramoz Mountain near Korca. Also there was no Saint John Church near the Cathedral. Try to find a local guy to get your facts and explain the historical city of Korca. I definitely respect your work man, but Check your sources...
yeap, it is next to the next district from Greece! hahaha. No hatred, just businessly misled and too much raki to talk about borders! He can talk about turtles though! hahaha

@Rini Shkoder respect your feedback, I travel in and around Europe a lot, I am not at all against Albania as it's an amazing and beautiful place with heritage and culture. Thirdly it seems to be sponsored trip rather than a personal trip and looks like a marketing stint ?

What is your favourite city of south India ( ANY TWO)?

You don’t add goat’s cheese or dried tomatos in trahana, traditionally you add pasterma, goat’s cured meet in salt...
I always add cheese to trahana
I remeber I added cheese and a bit of olive oil!
