While i like the layout of the house , those selections of checkerboard tiles on the walls in the kitchen and bathrooms are very, very old school. Kitchen, if i were to buy this place , i would strip everything off and retile it more aesthetically. Also, i think we need to stop this imported is better mentality... overseas rajasthani marble is sold as italian marble and i am sure same is the case in india. Islands in kitchens , i dont understand ...they are good for open plan living and where they really are useful..however if you want to enclose your kitchen with walls , i dont understand the use at all because no ine will sit there Lastly, as influences, you need to support ecololigally sustainable materials ... how much stone can be carved out to destroy our mountains for !! P/s lay out is nice, and i do like it... but feel the selection of materials can be a lot better
