@@aylsworthshaves8717 Mild blades don't work for me. Too much tugging and pulling. Feather or Gillette 7oClock platinum blacks (India) work best. Supermax is another good Indian brand for sharp blades. Rk blades are one use wonders too.
@@doctorxerxes Been working my way up from milder blades to the sharpest! My hair is very dense/ coarse and I'm a three pass shaver, so it takes a super sharp blade or a very aggressive razor for me to get full bbs without any touchup. Next up in the series is Perma Sharp, then Nacet, and finally Feather. I've tried 7Oclock green and yellow, but never Platinum black so I think I'll have to give em a go!
@@aylsworthshaves8717 The other 7 o'clock s don't hold a candle to the blacks. It's difficult to procure but it's very good. Tad less sharp than the feather but definitely smoother. Right now my go to razor is a Karve CB with a D plate. Want a G plate to test how efficient it does get without sacrificing too much comfort.
hey great shave! i had the same experience with this soap scent wise. i was expecting something more earthy with the oakmoss and leather and hay in the description but it ended up being more sage and magnolia forward to my nose. i really didn't like it at first and was kind of bummed cos i was didn't think the scent was all that great. well, i kept using it because the performance was so good and this scent totally grew on me. like you said it's more on the fresh side. anyway, i really like this scent and highly recommend it. i don't have the matching aftershave but it pairs superbly with razorock's saturnia if anyone knows that for reference. have a good one!

It was up there for me! 90-95% bbs without a touchup pass is pretty dang admirable. It's in my top two I've tried so far!!
