Thank you very much for video! I search some ethnic instruments on this processor, string instrumnets sound very nice with electric guitar controller like samisen, koto, harp, oud .... unfourtunetly very little ethnic sounds( Good playing, fun)
Yes, the reason this lacks ethnic sounds is because of the markets where it is most popular, Japan and the United States. That being said there are additional zeniology packs with more ethnic instruments. I will be covering these once I finish covering every instrument in the pedal.
I would love to play in an oriental style. I do sometimes play ethnic scales and I will be covering every single sound on this pedal so stay tuned. There are some sounds you will enjoy me playing coming up soon. I hope I earned your subscription.
Hey man, thanks for those awesome videos!!! Did you try the latest update for the GK ? They said it will improve the tracking. And have you ever tried playing in Standard Eflat Tuning or different tuning? Is the tracking good as well ? Hopefully I´ll get mine GM 800 at the end of the year, it´s just so damn expensive :D
The tracking won't be affected until you get to very low notes like bass notes. Bass notes are much harder due to the beginning of the note kind of vibrating in terms of its actual note. That being said I can never update my pedal. The reason why is I am a review channel. The moment I update my pedal is the moment I have a thousand angry comments telling me their pedal doesn't track like mine does. I have to keep the pedal the same as you will receive it. Not to mention quite literally nobody updates pedals, I'm talking like 99% of people do not plug in the pedal to the computer. I understand that my viewers are a large part of that 1% but I would say 70 to 80% of my viewers still don't plug the pedals in and for that reason I have to keep it stock. I also don't want to give companies in advantage by allowing them to update a product after it launches. I want to show you what the launch experience is so you know the reputation of the company for real. I hope that helps. I hope you enjoyed the video anyways and I hope I earned your subscription.
Sadly no this does not have Guitar simulations but I wouldn't recommend it anyways. I think the GM 800 is a better pedal all around and it's also smaller than the GR55 by significant amount with better quality sounds all around outside of Guitar simulations. That being said the guitar simulations in the GR55 are so outdated that you can get a two notes unit to replace that functionality and altogether the GM 800 and the two notes would still be smaller in size than the GR55. Plus the GK 5 pickup is superior technology and has better tracking. I hope that helps. If you do make the purchase please use my links,! I hope I earned your subscription.

Does this pedal have guitar simulations too like GR 55.... Moreover which is better considering a minimal sized pedalboard ?
