How to clean car battery terminals

How to clean the terminals or terminals of the battery with sodium bicarbonate and vaseline, prevent sulfate (not with Coca Cola).
Performing preventive action which will prevent sulfate at terminals or terminals of the car battery, for which, we performed a cleaning with baking soda, removing oxide and sulfate, and then apply solid white petrolatum, providing a protective layer terminals or terminals.
