Hi Aaron! I have installed the chamberlain smart garage door opener and everything looks OK but I can't progress through the travel setup step. When I click on adjust button to set up and down limits. The trolley does not move. FYI, I have installed the security sensors and plan to do it later. Any ideas?
I just completed the install of this unit and did watch this video prior to purchase and these are my comments. This is at best only a VERY general overview of the installation. MUCH is missing in just what is involved in each step! MUCH! I am a fairly competent DIY guy and this install took me the better part of two days. My garage was somehow NOT standard by the manual, thus work around and adjustments, plus three trips to the hardware store to find screws, clevis pins, and various odd bolts (usually without the benefit of known size/dimensions)! Argh. The manual is pretty good, but is clogged with legalese which gets in the way and slows the process! Bottom line - several videos seem to suggest 4-6 hours..I spent the better part of 2 days to complete. Result...I really like the device and am satisfied I got the right one for the job. Quiet, REALLY bright light, easy wiring, remotes work right out of the box and the App is easy and useful! Yes would buy again. READ THE CHAMBERLAIN INSTALL MANUAL FIRST.
Other than price, are there any reasons to choose this over a their jackshift/wall mount model or the Genie wall mount model? How is the camera? Does it open on the app quickly?

Only when you do it remotely via the app. It's basically a warning to anyone who might be present the door is about to close. There is no beeping when you use the remote/wall panel/homelink.
Battery is located behind the panel on top that faces the door! It's a little door that swings open. It's just like the door on the back side to adjust the door travel.
For the light, how does this compare to the one that has light bulb on both sides? Would this make one side the garage darker than the other or completely without the light?
Were you late for dinner when you decided to make this install video? I e never had to stop and rewind and replay so many times and then you don’t even show what you’re doing because the part you’re talking about and wrenching on is out of the camera frame. It would have been nice if Chamberlain provided any written install directions in the box but nothing so I’m stuck searching for a decent video on UA-cam.

My mobile phone myQ has been connected to the garage door lens. But I can’t see the lens camera screen on my mobile phone. Why? Thank u
Does it beep every time you open and close it? If so, can you turn the beeping off?

How to disable the light ?
I just bought one. The motor will not turn on. Sensors are aligned. Any ideas? If i press the close button the light blinks but no motor activity.
how many times does the motor blink?
I’m having this same exact issue! Please help! It blinks twice with no motor activity when clicking the remote on the wall

You don’t need change the light bulb 💡. Soft the light will be forever ♾
Shorten your J-arm so you can get more travel it’s too much at a angle, it can bend your panel in half
