So today, I had the chance to visit the Shore Line Trolley Museum up in Branford, CT for the first time. Here, I start with some attempts at recording sounds from the cab of R9 1689 (whistle, brake, directional key, and throttle sounds; excuse the talking in the background from people, volunteer employees and guests hanging out in the car) before proceeding on to demonstrate how to operate the AMUE (ME-23 valve) manual lap brake valve and read the air brake gauge.
