I am so sad that Khabib’s father passed recently. He was a great man and made a great champion. Khabib and his family gave me a new perspective on Islam that not many westerners are shown and I think he is a great ambassador for his people.

@@knight3481 What do you mean? He's right, Dustin is Khabib's most challenging opponent. Who has Khabib fought of note besides McGregor and Dos Anjos? Al is pretty good too, but not stylistically. All his matchups have been heavily in his favor stylistically actually. All strikers, no defensive grapplers (Dos Anjos is a top heavy guy mainly). This is the first time he faces someone who's a serious danger.
For every opponent we thought the same...but as far as fight begins khabib dominates... that's what he did all the time

I think the rolls and house were offered by the locals, UFC isn't that generous. They are all Khabib fans there, but they are all giving Poirier respect because he's Khabib's opponent.

Went to Abu Dhabi in 2016 legit for a week. A Normal Maintenance worker from Hermosa Beach CA. And they treated all of us coming off the plane with respect I felt special. Legit loved it
