@@benjamintaiper7987 Glitter Force and Glitter Force Doki Doki were adapted to basically be Americanized, but they were the only two precure shows that were. I also grew up with those, I haven’t watched the other original precure shows yet.

My girl Mana did an AMAZING job being a leader, she was full of positivity and energy which basically makes a good leader, some may call her a "Mary Sue" but I really don't care. She does her job as a leader perfectly and I am tired of seeing hate on her😭😭 She is so pure and I always loved her for that

She isn't even a mary-sue, she's just a good person who did good things. I feel like some people forget what being a mary-sure actually means and just use it as a term for characters they dislike. She's my 3rd favourite leader, 2nd is Blossom, 1st is Flora

@@kiroixxisntcoolagreed. I think people were super upset because Mana was also athletic AND smart. Most leaders were either extremes. Plus Mana did have flaws, basically working herself to death until she physically couldn’t anymore (garnering a fever). She ignores her friends advice to focus on others instead of herself.
I just think Cure Precious did not have that much going on for her character. I even fear she had the least development 😅

I love Cure Heart so much! I don't think she's a Mary Sue, I think people need to take a hard look at her and learn a lesson about how to treat people.
It’s honestly nice seeing heart, melody, and precious being placed so high
At first I was like, “Hey you forgot about Cure Butterfly, she’s a pink cure!?” But then I realized it’s leader cures.
I, too, wish people didn't ship Grace with you-know-who. The guy is literally the definition of toxic in more ways than one. Plus, it's personal for me. I was dealing with a pretty nasty person when this season was airing, and watching the two characters interact felt almost uncomfortable, it was so familiar. So yeah, I hate that ship with every fiber of my being.
I really don’t understand the ship either. Based on canon events alone, it doesn’t make sense.
I did, however, write a post-season story about the two reconciling, adding in lots of original contexts to make it a lot more reasonable. Love-ship is out of the question but I think friendship is possible when additional contextual elements are added.

In the Ship defense, the ship was born WAY BEFORE the plot twist of him being Grace illness was out and more or less were created because "EEEYY Good Girl x Bad Boy" Trope were extremely popular (
Cure Precious hasn't any development nor a real story arc. It'll be for that I never saw her so high in a list. A peculiar choice, let’s say it. But it remains your opinion, so I respect it. Let's love PreCure! ❤
I know that wonderful is the lead for wonderful Precure, but I almost always forget that fact and think that friendly is. Like usually the lead is the first to become a cure in that specific series, but wonderful almost never comes up with the plans and goes by what friendly says. Friendly also just has that leader energy going for her as well. I love wonderful and all, but as a leader I totally agree that she was not the right choice for that season.
I do agree, not too terrible as a character but as a lead cure not much going on since its just friendy doing the planning

Wonderful is my least favorite lead mainly because like you said she dosen’t act like a lead even though some pink leaders aren’t necessarily the LEAder but have some kind of leadership.
My Favorite Lead cure would probably go to Yell because she has a Enjoyable personality and Funny as well. And Cure sky because eof her determination of being a hero

Sora's Developing Characteristics is quite good and also she is the First Isekai Protagonist and Blue Leader Precure(No.1) of all time
Mana is Perfect Girl for sure.
Yui is like a Quote Master.
Hibiki and Nagisa is like tough and Tomboyish fierce energy.
Miyuki and Megumi's Positivity is better like glittering smiles happy and happiness charging lovely
Cuure Happy and Cure Heart will always be my everything

For me, it’s not that I hate Yui because I think she’s a good girl and ultimately has a very lovely heart and personality.
It’s that the writers completely betrayed her and disappointed me at every turn when writing Precious. For half of the season she got nearly zero development and that’s not even an exaggeration. No growth continuity in her arc because the writers knew her main character flaw couldn’t last for more than a two-parter.
From a favoritism standpoint I really don’t hate Yui at all, it’s just she is a reminder of how poorly her season was written and it makes me sad.

MANA IN TOP FIVE? My goodness! I’d never believe it! Heart isn’t my favorite precure anymore but she has an incredibly special place in my heart because she was my first favorite cure and DokiDoki was my first season to really get into the precure franchise. I overall agree with your list!

I have not seen anything passed the English dub of Pretty Cure with Cure Black and Cure White but I always love watching PreCure vids~ I love that they’re all bright pink, even Cure Black has some pink accents, but then Cure Sky shows up 😂 It’s like everyone made a plan on what to wear and forgot to contact her XD
Also I was quite surprised (back in the day) by how much violence was left in the dub then I found it was dubbed in Canada who I learnt are a lot more lax about what can be left in dubs, or at least they were.

"megumi genuinely makes me upset" - Am I the only one who kinda liked her. Idk I liked how energetic and motivated she was. Sure, she had her weak scenes... Very weak scenes. But I still kinda liked her design and vibe 😅
I liked that series and overall did like her but the romance part... I felt like she didnt really notice or care about the guy's feelings for her (forgot name whoops) right until the end and her crush on blue felt weird to me bc hes a whole grown man
