I have a 2024 Polaris Xpedition XP 5 -- WAY TO NOISY - revs too high - apparently according to Polaris customer service - their engineering is DILIGENTLY working on a fix-- I REGRET MY PURCHASE - this is probably due to improper gearing (too LOW) I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MACHINE AT ALL - Please note that there have been HUNDREDS of complaints about this problem and POLARIS is dragging their feet - PS - I have added sound barrier to area behind and under the seats and on the firewall in the engine bay - this helped the noise a bit but the HIGH revs are UNPLEASANT to say the least - OK if you have earplugs or you are hard of hearing - otherwise PASS
You comment on every one of these posts. Yes, noisy. There is already a clutch kit from Polaris that will be available soon to anyone who wants it. I own one and the dealer sent me the letter. Awesome machines.
Yes they are a nice machine - but Polaris did drop the ball when it comes to high revs and noisy cabin- My machine was just picked up by the dealer to 1)Install the alleged clutch fix (PS_ Hunterworks responded to my inquiry and said this was a band aid not a fix so we shall see)2)Replace the severely warped rear roof panel and cap and 3) Locate and fix an oil leak(update they found the oil pan leaking and had to replace the gasket) I am also having them install 32 inch pro armour tires - I hope to get the machine back shortly and hope all this corrects the problems and SIGNIFICANTLY reduces the noise - Our dealer has three more machines lined up for this fix and I have read that there are literally hundreds of people with the same "noise issue" - Good luck with you clutch mods - hope it works out for you as well @@csaa1980
