    Thank you for doing this video for us. You don’t need music your voice is music.

    Also - I just discovered that Mirlax is a good alternative for the brightener solution, in case you care to check that money saver out!

    I am slowly getting the supplies together to start doing this - I live in an apartment with two cats, so my main issue to figure out is how to make it safe :D - really cool with a video thoroughly7 explaining the setup - thank you for that

      No problem, i would say just make sure to keep a door shut so the kitties don't get in, but I know how Cats are, curious little things.... thanks for watching.

    Would you recommend having a vent in your work area?

    Please tell me what thickness can you get up to and will the copper be ductile or it will be so brittle it just cracks when bent? I want to use this for bracelets. Thanks

    Thanks for this! Just wanted to clarify for the bag, I was thinking of using re-usable tea bags I have, however I believe mine are cotton will that work for this?

    So it doesn’t matter what kind of container you use to electroform?

    Used fresh solution and it created a ton of white slime/goo. Could it be the latex dissolving? 😐

    Gracias ,lindo video. Que proporción de agua destilada, sulfato de cobre y acido sulfúrico se debe usar? Que amperaje recomiendas?

      Hola! No Hable espanol..... But it looks like you are asking for the portions of water to acid to copper sulfate and to be honest I don't remember, I made it over a year ago. there are some videos on UA-cam explaining it better, also look on an electroforming group on Facebook. I found most of my information on different groups from our great community!

      el amperaje es mejor empezarlo bien despacio así no se acumula mucho cobre en las piezas ,pero depende del efecto que cada cual le quiera dar a su pieza , y mirando de cuando es su comentario imagino que ya sabe las medidas de lo que debe utilizar jajaja

    DUDE! thank you so much for making this! Quick question. Is your bus bar solid or does it have a hole through it? I found some plumping copper pipe that I wanted to use but it was not solid, had a hole for water to go through I am guessing. So the current wouldn't connect to it? My gator clips could have been touchy though.

      @elementricartworks6999  3 роки тому

      HI!
      So my Bus bar is solid because it carries the electric current better (I Think), while my Anode is hollow copper tube that has more surface area for the acid to break it down. Although That's just my set up, I'm sure if you used hollow as a buys bar you'd be fine, its still a conductor
      Hope that helps

    Is it just a cloth bag I have one but it's red I wonder if it would affect the solution

    • @elementricartworks6999
      @elementricartworks6999  3 роки тому

      Cloth would disintegrate in the bath because of the acid. You have to use a synthetic material. Do a search for anode bags.

      I haven’t used one but I heard a rock tumbler is great for it. I use a dreamer with a wire brush attachment.
