Good review. Bought mine from HSN came with 1500 min. talk time 1500mb data and 1500 text for $70 bucks it's a Tracfone and serves me well enough although I'm not nearly as knowledgeable as some.
I'm also a TracFone user. The 1500 Talk/Text/Data Year card is $125 + tax by itself. I'll never understand how they make money selling the card bundled with a decent phone for well under $100; but I'm happy they apparently do.
I got this from walmart under AT&T for only $85!!!! it’s not a galaxy S22 nor a galaxy note series, but if you just need a CHEAP functioning smartphone, it’s a solid buy.

Worse phone ever I buy from samsung. No knox. No Secure Folder. Worse camera result even A10 is better camera. Poor processor. You can even buy A02s with 64 GB in same price of this 32 GB phone.
The operating system takes up 1/4 of the memory. I have a few basic,12 pictures, and zero files on the phone and it is maxed out. Hopefully adding a SanDisk card is going to make the phone usable.
I like your honesty about this a03s phone because i own one and i agree to all of your comments .. yeahh it is poor in camera and loggish on games even just scrolling . Samsung seems like they have sacrificed some features in-order to have "a big battery" and a fingerprint scanner. Other OEMs offer better deals for their entry-level phones but Samsung likes to justify their pricing with their software support.
"other OEMs" are CCP chinese spyware treason phones. If you want all your data sent real time to Chairman Xi legion of doom HQ, by all means purchase a budget chinese phone.
@@percussion44 you do realise that Samsung does the exact same thing and most of their phones and parts are all made in China... Software is also developed by their vendors in China, after which it is optimized and released globally to all regions. In short Samsung also is spying on users through hidden software feedback and so are Huawei, Xiaomi,Oppo, Realme, OnePlus and so on... Even Apple does this with their iPhones(constantly monitoring and sending user feedback in secret)
@@forzahorizon5pulse11 Huh?? Derp derp.. Of course I realize that. Which is why I wish these so called reviewers would pay more attention to such things. All of Apples crap is made in China and undoubtedly filled with spyware, possibly even unbeknownst to Apple. Google phones I am sure are/were the same. For that reason it would be nice if grift reviews hadn't forced Samsung to make stuff in China and driven LG out of the market entirely. Some of us feel things such as data integrity and privacy rather than the sound fidelity from the 2mm speaker are important.
@@percussion44, not all of Apple's crap is made in China now. Since the pandemic, Chinese strikes India has been picking up the slack. India also has a couple of phone brands of their own.
It takes the phone nearly 6 hours to charge from 0 to 100... And doesn't support Fast Charging... Which is honestly REALLY sad considering there are budget phones for $60-$70 that support Fast Charging and are even faster than this phone...
Most reviewers make videos for Samsung flagships, the most ultra plus pro s s phone, but they forget that Samsung makes entry level phones too. I think that's mostly because many reviewers are from the USA, and I think Samsung don't sell A and M series phones in the USA

Pretty sad that I can just go online and buy a Galaxy Note 5 for the same price and still have better performance and camera. They really need to start increasing the performance of their low end devices... It's been the exact same since 2016... ALSO... I've learned to never buy a budget phone with the 2 mp Macro camera... 98% of phones below the $150 price range with the 2mp Macro are among the worst phones to own...
I have one, the long lasting battery is a joke. The reception is horrible. I literally have to restart my phone every single time it drops signal. Never had those issues with my a11. Same provider. I highly do NOT recommend this phone
Essentially, a slight upgrade of the A02s. BEWARE! Some places have contradicting specs. I've seen so many sites claiming it has an Accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, and some other things. The one I purchased (in USA) has none of those mentioned sensors. No smart view either so you will need to use something like Google Home or another app for mirroring. Seems a little faster than my A02s, but in other spots there's some lag. One of the games I play works fine on the A02s as long as I don't play for a certain length of time. On the A03s, it loads much faster, but then it glitches or lags in the UI menu changes causing errors. It's a pretty inexpensive device at 60 USD vs 50 USD for the A02s (Boost mobile prices them a bit lower).
@@Harun-jl8xs I don't use the camera a whole lot, but it functions okay for a phone camera I guess. Feels about the same as my A02s and several other phones.
So, here a question. What smartphone in 2021 under $500/£500/€500 (apart from an iPhone or an old Pixel) or thereabouts which has the most accurate front and selfie camera photo quality in terms of skin tones and dynamic range? Interested to know your thoughts.
Well the only problem ii have with this phone is the colour palet. It looks really washed out and since you cant change anything around it looks worse than my 6 year old S6. Well for the budged i dont really mind i guess but still.
So very slow @122 hours battery test result... Just save your money for a better experience! Imagine 2GB or 3GB RAM will already be too slow for Android 11 and OneUI 3.1. And there are updates to come and slow down even further 🤔
I just hate how long the keyboard takes to come up sometimes or for apps to open including camera. Oh and wish it had more than 32GBs to be able to download more apps. Other than that it's koo for watching UA-cam
I have been on iPhone for the last 6 years, so switching to the Galaxy A03s is a bit of a mind-fuck. Just answering a call, led me to miss 4-5 calls before I finally gave in and watched a you tube "idiots class" so I could understand one function of the phone. My needs are totally bare bones: make calls. Get voicemails. Use google gmail, and calendar for my appointments to synch between my desktop (Dell platform) and the phone. So all in all, I am happy with this. One aspect I miss the most, is the finger print unlock function that Apple phones have. A minor gripe, but still work mentioning in case other new owners are considering this phone. Now all I need is a way to have the voice mail transcribed automatically for me. Apple had a nice option for that, and it was great. (ie... read a bull shit message, without having to listen to VM and punch in mail passcode.)
Coming from a note 10 I did not want to repair. So I went with this cheap phone and it totally wasn't worth my time. Very slow, horrible picture quality, no memory. only good for text and phone calls. I owned this phone for two days and I hated every second of it.
I have one of these and not liking it much. Wish Galaxy would make shorter, wider devices with a built-in stylus. LG does it, and at an affordable price.
LG did. Their phone division went out of business a couple of years ago because they couldn't turn a profit. So, if you really liked the LG Stylo you should probably try to find a leftover new one before they're fully gone. Moto and TCL have introduced relatively affordable stylus phones to grab the market abandoned by LG; but, they're tall so you might not like them.
all i need it for is text call and music i was gana download genshin impact but looks like it probably wont work well. damn pretty disappointed on that but over all im happy with what i orderd
Just bought this for my mom since she needed a cheap phone from a shop (couldn't buy online). She paid $200 CDN (or 220?--excluding tax) and it's far worse than my four year old Redmi Note 8 Pro that I got on sale for 169 euros! I can't imagine this phone holding up for more than 2 years which is sad--it's soooo slow. There is far better hardware out there for the money. The only plus is it updated to Android 13, which I was surprised by.
People are so spoiled now. I'm 70. When I was growing up I had a black and white tv 7 channels. After midnight only channel 2 was on. If you were watching a movie or tv show and the phone rang or you had to go to the bathroom, you couldn't pause the tv. There was no video tapes or DVDs and you had to use an anolog camera and you never knew how your picture came out until you carefully took the roll of film out of the camera and brought it to your local drugstore for them to send to Kodak or a prossessing company and in week or so you'd see your picture. And what you saw was what you got. You couldn't fix the picture. If you owned a polaroid, you could see your black and white picture in about 15 seconds and a full minute for color. But the quality wasn't as good as a Nikon. And VIDEO? NO SOUND. You'd have to buy a movie camera and a projector. And you only got 5 minutes of film that you could only film outdoors in bright light. If you wanted to shoot indoors you needed to buy very powerful and bright floodlights that blinded the people you were filming. Then you had to unload the 5 minutes worth of film and bring it to the local pharmacy or camera store for them to send it away for developing. You'd get the 5 minute movie back in about 2 weeks. Then you'd have to get out your heavy metal projector and oh yeah you'd have to buy a white movie screen that was on a tripod and a pain to set up. Then painstakingly thread the take up part of the film into the projector which took more time and patience. Then you would turn all the lights on the room off and start the projector. It usually had 2 switches. One to start the film going through the projector and the other to put that bulb in the projector on. After all that, you get to watch your 5 minute silent film. When done, you'd have to thread the film from the bottom take up reel which is now full, back up into the original reel. Put the projector into reverse and let the film rewind back into the original spool. Then you'd shut the lamp(bulb) off, but keep the projector on until the bulb cooled off in about 5 to ten minutes. Now you have cell phones. Oh yeah, I had to use a corded telephone that you had to dial with your fingers. And no answering machine. We were happy. Played outdoors a lot.
I've been thinking about going back to Samsung but this model won't be my choice. I'm currently using a Motorola and I've turned off all of the bells and whistles on it as I've found them to be useless. One UI looks like it will be fun to customize and learn but we'll see. After all, Samsung has a couple of features I've found only on LG phones so I guess my next phone will be a Sammie...
I'd have never bought this phone if I knew that wired headphones do not work with it. I fail to understand why it has a jack. Why release a phone that lags when scrolling through the app drawer? Had the experience been even remotely smooth I'd be perfectly happy, but it was just a real pain to do anything on it. Not to say that you can't get stuff done because you can, it does everything a phone needs to do, but more often than not I wanted to just throw it out of the window.
If you need a phone that is just a phone and nothing else, get something else for the same price. I really can't recommend it
Good review.
Getting 1 next week for $168 🇨🇦, reviews were good 👍
lol 100$ in best buy right now
I got this from walmart under AT&T for only $85!!!!
it’s not a galaxy S22 nor a galaxy note series, but if you just need a CHEAP functioning smartphone, it’s a solid buy.
Hey,
How did you go about it???
I'll be glad to chat with you and know more
Just got it. I'm happy.
What alternatives are there within that price range?

Alcatel One Touch, if you only want it for texting, I have 3 iPhones laying around and I never connect them to networks
Galaxy A22 4G i think is Samsung's best budget smartphone in 2021 but still you didn't make its video nor upload some images on your website. Pls do it GSMArena
Worse phone ever I buy from samsung. No knox. No Secure Folder. Worse camera result even A10 is better camera. Poor processor. You can even buy A02s with 64 GB in same price of this 32 GB phone.
So this is the kind of phone people use to record aliens or pre historic dinosaur sighting...
I carry around a Game Boy Camera for my alien sightings.
The operating system takes up 1/4 of the memory. I have a few basic,12 pictures, and zero files on the phone and it is maxed out. Hopefully adding a SanDisk card is going to make the phone usable.
Nice informational video. Does this phone have the mobile hotspot option?
Yep
I got this phone for my son recently, still waiting for it to arrive. It's his first phone he's 11. I think it's good
My opinion is that RealMe Narzo 50A is better choice here
well said. samsung continues to give shít to people.
xiaomi note 10
infinix hot 10 also a good choice than this crap samsung

Helpful, thanks mate 👍
I like your honesty about this a03s phone because i own one and i agree to all of your comments .. yeahh it is poor in camera and loggish on games even just scrolling . There are other phones that has same price but more smoother and faster than this like realme. Sometimes i regret buying this phone
Can you name a few?
@@attila7092 I think Motorola n Nokia phones, at such low prices Stock android is much better than any heavy Android skin.. Even some Chinese companies also use lite version of android so they work faster ..
I’m looking for a second line for work and side hustle purposes. I will put this phone in the “maybe” category.
You say it doesnt include Bixby as if thats a bad thing. Id pay to get rid of bixby lmfao
Can you teach how to turn on led light near censor...because your review ..i saw they have light

Using this right now!

Check Xiaomi redmi series and Infinix note series (snapdragon gaming processor yet same price range)
Great review. Would a phone with the T130 CPU be better? Any similar priced recommendations? Thanks.
2:54 that lag tho 😂😂
It explained everything 😂
Which phones fit that criteria?
Almost buy this phone thank you for the review help me from doing a rash decision buying a new phone.
Most reviewers make videos for Samsung flagships, the most ultra plus pro s s phone, but they forget that Samsung makes entry level phones too. I think that's mostly because many reviewers are from the USA, and I think Samsung don't sell A and M series phones in the USA
They sell the A series in the USA but not the M series.

Nice t shirt , pls where can I get a GSMArena tshirt?
You get what you pay for. A phone like this is good for a kid to start out as their 1st phone. Of course there's people out there that are on a very low budget & this phone fits in. One good thing about Samsung is that they do make phones to fit all bugmdgets
I bought it because I read the specs which said that it was a 4g cel phone but when I activated it it shows 3g on it's mobile network!.What a bummer 😕
Only thing I wanted, and should have ☑️, is a radio, I don't need all 🔔 and 😙...I like simple, and a 📻 is simple
I have one, the long lasting battery is a joke. The reception is horrible. I literally have to restart my phone every single time it drops signal. Never had those issues with my a11. Same provider. I highly do NOT recommend this phone
Does it have alotta bloatware and can unwanted apps be removed?
What about it's camera??
@@Harun-jl8xs I don't use the camera a whole lot, but it functions okay for a phone camera I guess. Feels about the same as my A02s and several other phones.
Hey, I got a question: would you recommend buying that phone as a backup phone for $59?...
Yes
So, here a question. What smartphone in 2021 under $500/£500/€500 (apart from an iPhone or an old Pixel) or thereabouts which has the most accurate front and selfie camera photo quality in terms of skin tones and dynamic range? Interested to know your thoughts.
a52s
Well the only problem ii have with this phone is the colour palet. It looks really washed out and since you cant change anything around it looks worse than my 6 year old S6. Well for the budged i dont really mind i guess but still.
Brought today. Decent one
I just had to make sure I wasn't the only one with a sluggish phone😅
So very slow @122 hours battery test result... Just save your money for a better experience! Imagine 2GB or 3GB RAM will already be too slow for Android 11 and OneUI 3.1. And there are updates to come and slow down even further 🤔
extra memory can be plugged into the usb port, sound quality is crap, so how would i listen to this thru other speakers?
Is there Fm. Radio of this phone A03s?
I’m considering a cheapy mob to replace my Nokia 3, is this good?
Awesome review!
For 45$ at dollar general you can't complain i saw this at my local dollar general and i had to watch the review
I just hate how long the keyboard takes to come up sometimes or for apps to open including camera. Oh and wish it had more than 32GBs to be able to download more apps. Other than that it's koo for watching UA-cam
I wouldn’t recommend buying this phone!
What's up brother.
From Bangladesh.
Another one from Samsung,Great review 👍👍👍😊😊😊 Thanks
Coming from a note 10 I did not want to repair. So I went with this cheap phone and it totally wasn't worth my time. Very slow, horrible picture quality, no memory. only good for text and phone calls. I owned this phone for two days and I hated every second of it.

Please review Samsung Galaxy M52 5g
Samsung Galaxy M series isn't very well known everywhere, but is well known in Asia.

Hi does it come with per-sticked screen protector out of box?
Just bought this for my mom since she needed a cheap phone from a shop (couldn't buy online). She paid $200 CDN (or 220?--excluding tax) and it's far worse than my four year old Redmi Note 8 Pro that I got on sale for 169 euros! I can't imagine this phone holding up for more than 2 years which is sad--it's soooo slow. There is far better hardware out there for the money. The only plus is it updated to Android 13, which I was surprised by.
Cheap phones like these are great to fill wirh podcasts and other things.
Kinda like galaxy a11 its only 2gigs of ram?
how do you connect to a computer? the charger cable is a "C" terminal ,not a USB terminal
The cable in the box is a USB-A to USB-C. You can connect to a computer with the USB-A side
It's on sale for 39. 88 ATM
What's the largest MicroSD card it will take? 128GB or 256GB?
None.
How long does android provide security updates?
I'd have never bought this phone if I knew that wired headphones do not work with it. I fail to understand why it has a jack. I've tried every fix I can find and yet headphones play for just a short time then becomes garbled. No problem connecting to Bluetooth devices, but nothing plugged into the jack works for more than a minute or so
My friend has this phone and as someone who has an iphone this phone isnt bad for the price his dad bought it for him
