I really like this content and this series. Most normal working people still ride these bikes now as we can't afford to purchase a new $10K+ US bikes every year to get the latest. I race on the same S5 (with Zipp 202s) and I'm not planning to race anything else. I also have a Caledonia Ultegra mech version for winter training. The old S5 is faster and lighter than the new Caledonia - so it stays as the KOM/ race/ fondo summer bike.
One of the nicest colorway ever existed is connected to this s5. The silver and yellow combo was just an absolute beauty in my opinion. Cheers for the nice content!
I don't think I'll ever go disc, for me they snatch too much, I'm too old school, too old and I like the classic look ! Having said that, I'm happy to ride disc on my MTB's where I think the trend should have remained, each to their own I suppose! 👍 😉🚴♂️
Never a dull moment with Renshow

I am sure Tour magazine found this version more aero than the new version - how accurate their testing was I don't know.
It amazes me that bike companies release bikes that are faulty, even to the pros..ie seat post slipping.Crazy.
