- It has officially been a week since World Of Jumpstart has permanently shutdown.

This video was recorded a day before the official date it shutdown, this game has been a part of my childhood for years and it's the reason for who I am today. I am forever grateful that I got to create memories within this game a long with Eat My Dust, SuperSecret and also MathBlaster. Also thanks to those who recorded final moments or even accessing maps that aren't available in the online version without any mods. Although their servers have shut down, you can still play single player modes of Adventure land and etc!

Why do I feel like crying? It’s just a computer game….. but I’d still make it a point to get on there for every holiday. Me and my sisters are all in high school now but we’d still play sometimes. We also love quoting Frankie and Jean Claude and other characters randomly. I know this sounds stupid but this game was such a big part of my childhood and I’ll miss it 😭This is worse than when Disney Crossy Road went away. RIP punk punks

Unfortunately, i never got around to playing this game ever again since i was a child.. i was definitely around 7 when i played this which was in 2010..
I have cherishaable memories of this game, the most i remember is flying on the broomsticks, and the giant ants in scienceland. I also loved the launchpads which let you skydive. Thankyou for the memories Jumpstart!

Me playing this game as a kid is such a foggy memory. I spent a lot of time playing the boat races, I think I spent a ton of time in the disco room or something, the trend in that game people would somehow glitch themselves out of bounds like onto the stage or something.
I thought the egg hatching/warming thing creeped me out.
I spent so much time flying around with the broom and collecting materials.
Good times.
So sad. I wanted to play it randomly. RIP to my homes, my dragons, my rides. Hopefully there will be a rewritten project one day where everything can be free and we can relive our childhood memories.
I used to play this game in 2009 when I was 6, the same time I used to play Club Penguin. Haven't thought about it in years and it randomly popped in my head today. Sad to see its gone

From what I remember, their license with dreamworks ran out and they had to close their last source of income (school of dragons) which was the last thing keeping them afloat
honestly over the past decade they made a series of creative decisions that slowly drove people away.. such a shame it's gone
I bought a lifetime membership in 2020 and was so excited to play again and thought it just wasn’t loading and then it was gone… 😞
Damn, I didn't even know this was shut down, wish I had gotten the chance to play it again before it was gone.

i remember my parents let me stay up super late and i grinded out all the quests for the mermaid tail. i was terrified of the punk punks when i was little LMAO

The punk punks freaked me out too as a kid, but I think it was just because you lost one or two coins when they hit you and you’d have to go and pick them back up. I guess I wasn’t very confident in my gaming ability back then cuz I thought I’d loose all my cash

I managed to get some non membership playing in before the game shut down. I was glad i did. I wish I could've done the same for school of dragons.
Was anyone scared of the punkpunks or was that just me? It was the noise they made before charging that scared me. 😂
I remember I got the lifetime membership back in elementary due to how much I played. During summer I would get in trouble for running the bills so high due to me being online for 24 hours once. I owned every house, mount, clothing item. I wish I could have told my old friends where I am now :(

This is so sad. I know it’s a little late to say this, but I am still very sad to this day. I remember when I got shut down. It just makes me not want to live anymore. Without JumpStart, then what is there? 😢😢
To me personally my sister and I would play this game a lot I remember struggling with adventure mode and the mermaid one i also remember when they added Madagascar we would hang there a lot I missed those days good times so nostalgic.

It was a part of my childhood. My name was Daniel wonderwolf. This game Had me addicted because Jacob wonder wolf was my dad in the game. But now I mean me and him we're just friends. what ever did happen? I remeber it used to be so busy, and then when I was playing other players slowly just diminished over time, none of the younger kids wanted to play I guess?
It’s a shame my childhood it’s sad it’s gone I was going to play it today but it’s sad it shut down rip world jump start my last childhood virtual world game to shut down. Played this game for years it was more unfortunately as club penguin, free realms, and toon town rewritten is not the same all shut down that I played.

This is the only mmo i was allowed to play as a kid. Many of my earliest memories were made with it and I would love so much to play it one more time! If anyone knows of a private/archived server please please lmk

They made an update that pretty much ruined it when I was in 5th grd or so. Most parts of the map were empty after that.

bro same, as a kid i was never able to have the cool features i remember or get any dragons or play the member games. i wanted to relive my childhood and make my child self happier by getting membership even if it costed money. unfortunate it isnt possible :,)
