When I was teenager my friends and I would use index cards cut to a cone shape wrapped around a nail head and fill the cone with candle wax. We then would sharpen the ends. Made perfect darts.
Long term fan. Your material has been so sharp and we'll detailed lately. The small film edits are so much fun. I looooove the addition of Chris. He's a perfect partner and a real joy to watch. Don't stop your direction. This show is so fantastic and getting better every day.
I love these comparisons. I have 2 Big Bore cold steel blowguns. A 4 footer and a 5 foot 2 piece Pro model. And I have a frameless flatband slingshot that I made, a Daisy converted for flatbands, and I just ordered an Axiom Ocularis and some arrow pouches for my Pocket Shot from Nathan and the folks over at Simpleshot. Bored I am not! Keep the good stuff coming. I dig it the most!
Get a few straw bales and spread it out in the mud. This will bind the moisture and also releases starch which makes everything become nice and solid. If it is a returning issue, dig some ditches about 2-3 ft. lay down either corrugated and perforated pvc draining pipe. Here comes the trick: fill the ditch with lots of small brances, shrubbery. then add rocks and gravel, then soil. The sticks will slowly rot awaay, but leads water along them while rotting. When totally rotted, they create "gates" of looser soil as the soil around will pack. It is pretty uncomplicated really. A lot of people don't use branches, so the pipe will stop fuctioning after a while. You can also use ceramic or cement pipes laid down end to end, using moss in the gaps, siphoning water into the pipe while keeping dbris out. The moss will keep on growing together and works for decades
Back in 1963 a friend taught me how to make paper darts, (origami) apparently Chinese children have been doing this for centuries it was a novel child’s toy using bamboo. I decided to evolve this concept, By putting a finishing nail in it, & drip wax into the tip for weight. Using compressed air at 300psi., on impact the dart would explode but it would drive the 4 penny nail, that’s 5” of nail into a 4X4 until the head of the nail was below the surface. It would go clean through the 3/4” fence board.
I had no idea a person could make a living and support a family with a home sling shot business. Very inspiring. Do what you love and you never work a day in your life.
Hello I had one question I'm a fan of Fowler's Makery and Mischief too but I'd wanted to ask you if you would like my video that I made on my channel, I'm practicing to be better and make better videos
78th, Zach I love your videos man I have been watching for 3 years now!, I'm a sophomore in highschool and I have a hard time learning nowadays because covid made my year so horrible its hard to even keep up grades , but watching your videos help me relax and focus on some of my work most of the time , I love what you do! Dont give up man
I have used both types. Slingshots can be used for long-range hunting, but are mainly suitable for birds. The blowgun has less ability to hit targets at long distances, but the wound it creates is enough to hunt larger animals.
@@FowlersMakeryandMischief This is true. Hey, I have been meaning to ask one of you guys what the best propane camp grill is. I had an Ozark Trail but don't trust the design. What do you like to use?
That lazer cutting machine is a game changer! This is some serious crafting man! I was waiting for one of you to shoot the speed detector 😂skewer some onions to grill off😂you guys are cross contaminating darts, now boots😂sling shot for the win. Great session!🐸🍺🤙🔥
I have a Caldwell Chronograph that connects to my phone via a 5m cable... I built a plywood box for my chronograph to prevent me from shooting him to pieces... Since the velocities are displayed on my phone (safe 5m away) I don't have to see the screen of my chronograph

Fowler and Chris are the best , I love when they are doing videos together . They should have their own TV show !
ua-cam.com/video/Yp0vGuJIRbsy/v-deo.html3
They should!
*Chris eats a pickle off the ground*
Fowler: "Eww"
Also Fowler: Eats an onion like an apple.
@JOSEF BORG Erm... there's a few things lol. But its all good, quality entertainment.
ua-cam.com/video/Yp0vGuJIRbsy/v-deo.html3
There's a big burly German guy who would be very interested in what your doing.....
