Glad to help out DaSkreets. Fun fact, I bough RunDMC "Raising Hell," and "Tougher than Leather," for my 11th birthday. They were both on cassette cause I used to own this massive boombox that required 12 size D batteries. Good times man.
Just a question. Is there an option for a text roll (like a paragraph that follows the readers audio)? Kinda similar effect to credit roll? Been using Clipchamp to edit simple slides and convert it into a video. Hope to get a response. Thanks! a lot and God Bless.
Unfortunately, there isn't an option for scrolling text. What are you looking to do with it? Are you hoping to do the star wars opening reel, or are you looking to add captions. If you are going the captions route, there is a captions options but you will basically be showing one sentence at a time.
@@LaunchpadB You are right with the starwars kind effect but just a simple one... Thinking of creating a pure text video where text rolls up while following the audio. Anyways it seems the app is not capable "yet" of doing that, but hopefully they'd consider. Thanks for the reply.
@@TheWordTodayTV If they had an option to add motion to an overlay it could solve this issue. Unfortunately, they don't have that option yet. I'll keep an eye out. There is editing software called Corel Videostudio that gives a 30day totally free trial and they do have the scrolling text option.
@@LaunchpadB I was also looking for the same thing, thank you for asking, I do write beautiful poems and would love me wording to appear at the bottom of the video. Please let us know when it is available. thank you Sanet
Hey Chunky Monkey, if you click on the element you will see a box around it with white dots on each corner. Grab a dot with your mouse and drag to the appropriate size.
What are you trying to add to the text? There are character limitations with some of the options they provide. They do have a "caption" text option that should allow a ton of characters.
Do you mean you are trying to add other text options besides what is on the site? If so, ClipChamp is limited to only the options built into their editor. If you ever move into Premier Pro or a similar program you can use motion graphic templates like those found at MotionArray.com. They literally have thousands.
Great video. Short and to the point!
How do you add long text? I have no trouble adding short text.
Thanks bro!! Love the RUN DMC throwback shirt!!
