Luke 1:48-55 is traditionally called “Mary’s Magnificat,” the exultant prayer she speaks upon meeting her elder cousin Elizabeth who is pregnant. Pastor Sam Reynolds explains what it means to “magnify” the Lord. Sometimes during the holiday season, we magnify our problems and hurts. Sam encourages us to see how the Lord walks through the season with us and to let our souls respond to God as Mary did-to magnify the great way He loves us and takes care of us.
