- The year is almost over!!! And to celebrate, why not enjoy a joyride down memory lane with this remix of Kraken Up from the original Splatoon! This way to 2021!
It's been a hot minute since I've done a Splatoon remix, so I decided to make my last remix of the year just that! Kraken Up was never my favourite track from the original Splatoon but as time goes on, it holds a special place in my nostalgic heart, as do the other tracks. I've always wanted to tackle a remix of this one because I knew I wanted to incorporate the tower jingle in it -- and I did do that. It fits right in with this track, doesn't it?
Thanks everyone for the ongoing support. It's been a doozy of a year, but it's really comforting to know there are people who enjoy having me around. I hope you enjoy the track! I'll be back, up and running, moving forward, so please stay tuned into next year!

This really makes me nostalgic of the first game, I love the second, but there's something irreplaceable about the original.
I know exactly what you're talking about. The music and feel of splatoon 2 is just a little too different. It's not as nostalgic or memorable as the first game. The only part of Splatoon 2 I can really say I'm nostalgic for is octo expansion.

but because this thing has the TOWER JINGLE which blended so well into the music ✨✨
"Kraken Up" was my favorite song from the first game. Such a shame Nintendo didn't rearrange/remix it for Splatoon 2 :/
At least it's in smash, I love selecting small battlefield and scrolling all the way down to the splatoon tracks just to pick it.

When you feel like crying about a game you literally never played before and now it's too late to fix that mistake because Nintendo shut it down and you have to live with the fact that you've never played the first of the game trio you're so in love with and rhink about every day and now you barely see your screen and youre just sad for no big reason:(
This is delightful! So energetic and nostalgic. Kraken Up was one of my faves from the original Splatoon.

It's so good, Splatoon sure is one of my favorite games, spending time with new friends on it, participating in scrims and tournaments, playing custom modes like laser tag, and even memeing in Splatfests. Waaah, it sure was a joyful ride.

(Also love that you used the sound the tower makes when it moves in the remix(also here's a tip for tower control: the tower actually moves faster with more people it's just not very noticable))

This song is incredible! On the first day I discovered it, I listened to it like 10 times. Then I went through each of your Splatoon remixes, and I love them ALL. Amazing job!
Dang it! I wish I could have listened to this when it first came out... Still, it reminds me of my first ranked match in Splatoon 1. It was Tower Control and 'Kraken Up' was the song playing in the background. The little tower jingle really reeled it in for me; it makes me feel so nostalgic for the game even though i just started playing it a few years ago, both Splatoon 1 and 2. I really want to go back to Splatoon 1 someday, but I'm afraid Nintendo will pull online support for it once Splatoon 3 comes out, like what they did with Mario Maker.
The four Inklings in the art is me and my teammates after I won my first Tower Control match (I'm the female inkling in the middle; I just so happened to be using an Inkbrush that match :D).

Been listening to it as soon as I saw and i love it, its the songs from games like Splatoon that really keep me going, Kraken Up was my favorite song from the first game, so seeing a fresh remix of it? PECK YEAH! Kraken Up may have been sidelined for my favorite Splatoon track for Entropical, (also, lovin the remix of that :>) it still holds a place in my heart :)
