Hartford has much to offer, it is a nicely compact city that is easy to walk and navigate. Love Bushnell Park with the sweeping views of the gorgeous Connecticut state capital. Also love the expansive pedestrian plaza that links the new developments along the Connecticut River with the rest of downtown. I do Miss G. Fox downtown, but am glad they didn't tear the building down, it's a rich part of Hartford's history. Expanded Amtrak service in the coming years will further aid in raising Hartford's profile and capitalize on its great proximity to Boston and NYC.
