    I think it would be good to produce some arty vinyl overlays for the Skulpt - a good idea might be a design competition to get some artists to design some funky templates and get it back in the limelight a bit......it could be fun. I have to confess my Skuplt has sat there a bit gathering dust and I need to get it out and start playing with it. Maybe as it's so dark I don't play with it so much ( it's pretty dim in my room!). Perhaps some lighter /different vinyl templates and different coloured knobs might inspire peeps to use it in different ways. There is a lot of life left in it yet I reckon. I do like the small form factor of it. How about a Buchla style template or a Minimoog looking thing. Just something that would be fun!

      That's a great idea, as its quite a versatile and powerful synth, with lots of options and great harmonics. It just suffers from difficult UI / colour scheme.

    Great to see some new tut’s from you, if you fancy a deep dive of Argon 8’s sequencer I would appreciate it. 👍

    Can I sync the Sequenzer to my DAW(Reaper. For example)? I’ve got Problems with some Synths. Thank you in advance

      Hi Thomas, yes you can route MIDI timing information to the synth via traditional MIDI or USB MIDI.

    Hi! I need help understanding what means that the Skulpt sequencer can record up to 256 notes? As I understand, it means that there are 64 steps in total with max. 4 notes each? The sequencer can also be 1, 2, 4 or 8 bars. But if it is 8 bars with a total of 64 steps, then each bar has 8 steps? This is a bit confusing for me, because I’m trying to record a long sequence with one chord per 4 bars (its a slowly evolving pad). I have a total of 4 chords, so I need a length of 16 bars but Skulpt only has 8. Is there a way to decrease sequencer speed by 2? Without affecting the clock/tempo? My Microfreak has a rate adjustment and that allows me to have long sequences and I would like to know if there is something similar in Skulpt.

    Can you tell me why all Skulpts are quieter when switching from mono to duo mode? All the ones I've played with anyway

    • @Revelator72
      @Revelator72 4 роки тому

      Most likely the mono oscillator stack hits a single virtual VCA, but duo going to two VCAs with the amplitude level compensated.

    • @lstlvls2521
      @lstlvls2521 3 роки тому

      Mono mode uses four stacked voices, duo uses two. It therefore would result in a drop in volume due to the sound lacking the two additional voices.
