A day of stillness and a day of howling wind - Nation Lakes by canoe EPISODE 7

This is episode 7 in the story of three Dutch guys (and a dog!), their friendship and a plan that took the better part of a decade to come together. We went on a two week canoe trip on the Nation Lakes in BC, Canada.
And the kicker?
On the day of our departure most of us didn't know we were going on this adventure!
In this episode we start our journey on Tchentlo Lake, the largest lake of the trip. The first day is an unbelievable sight! An enormous lake without a ripple on it. Smoke in the air made for a very eerie atmosphere, but stunningly beautiful at the same time.
Because of the smoke we also had a blood red sunset unlike any other we saw.
The second day on Tchentlo was the polar opposite of the first! Howling wind from start to finish. A howling head wind, no less. Along the way we visit a mining exploration camp and we still managed to catch some fish for supper.
