I love this melancholy version so much more than the bursting loud fanfare of trumpets and horns and cymbals. Reminds me of the Revolutionary War era, like soldiers fighting and dying a tragic and heroic death.
I’m a proud American idk why but this song makes me emotional and love more my country United States of America 🇺🇸
I would totally have the Star-Spangled Banner played at my wedding
That’s the most usa thing I’ve ever heard! 👍
strings are definitely played in Heaven
Oh say Cant you see?
By the dawns early light?
What so proudly we hailed
At the Twilights's last Gleaming?
Who's Broad stripes and bright stars?
Though the Perilous fight?
Oh the Ramparts we watched? Were so Gallantly Streaming?
And the rockets red glare?
The Bombs Bursting in air?
Gave Proof throught the night
That our flag was still there
Oh say does that star Spangled Banner yet wave?
For the Land of the home free!
And the Home of the Brave?
On the Shore Dimmely seen
Through the Mists of the Deep
Where the Foe's haughty host
In dread silance reposes?
What is that which the Breeze?
Top the Towering steep?
As it Frittfully Blows
Half Conceals half Disposes?
Now it catches the Gleaming
Of the Mornings First beam
In full glory reflected
Now shines on the stream!
And the Star Spangled Banner
In Triumph may wave
For the Land of the Home Free!
And the Home O'er the brave.
And where is that Band?
That so Vauntingly Swore
That the havoc of war?
Ends with Battle's conclusion?
A Home and a county
Who should leave us no more?
Our blood has washed out
All actions forgiven
Our refuge will save
All those Fearful, afraid
For the terror of Fight
And the Gloom of ones grave
And the Star Spangled Banner
In Triumph Doth wave!
For the Land of victory!
And the Home of the brave!
When our land is illuminated
With Liberty's smile?
If a Friend joins within
With her Proud standing glory!
Rise! Rise! With the Banner!
And those fare to retrial
And the Flag of her stars?
And the Page of her story!
For the Millions who've planed!
For thier Freedom one's gained!
To keep her bright blazon
Forever unstained!
And the Star Spangled Banner
In Glory may wave!
For the land of Liberty
And the home of the brave!
Oh thus be it ever!
When freemen shall stand!
Beetween ones loved ones
And the wars desolation
Blessed with Victory and peace!
May the Heaven rescued land!
Praise the power that Hath made!
That preserved us the nation!
Then In Conquerer we must!
When our cause it is just!
And here be are moto!
In God is our trust!
And the star Spangled Banner
In Glory shall wave!
For the land O'er the home free!
And the home of the Brave!
Sooooo very lovely...God Bless American
Happy Birthday America 🇺🇸!
Have faith in you and god bless America.
Beautiful! 🇺🇸
Thank you!
Thank you!🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Our pleasure! 😍
Beautiful cover of The Star Spangled Banner! I think that this is a nice change from the traditional brass version which tends to get so powerful in some parts of the anthem (not saying I hate the brass version, but that's only an observation), whereas this version makes it more classical, and makes it one of the non-brass versions of the US national anthem I've heard.
I love your channel ** Can you do more anthems ? Like "God save the Queen" or the Hungarian "Himnusz" ?
Absolutely beautiful 🇺🇸
Awesome. Perfect arrangement and performance
O say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there
O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave
Amazing
Magnífico! Extraordinário! Belo...
who is the arranger for this version? This is great. Wonderful performance too!
what are the odds i’d get this song stuck in my head on 9/11…
That one titanic animation
like it but the american anthem just sounds better on brass... the British anthem or rule Britannia sounds better on strings IMHO
nickwalco not necessarily it’s just usually heard on brass instead of strings, because it is usually heard played by marching bands at sporting events
@@emilioalban1234 Maybe it's the nature of America, England used to be known for it's class and deportment and America used to be known for its brash uncouth obnoxious behaviour. strings just sound too classy for America, brass more suits the upbeatness of America
@@nickwalco I’m literally an American strings player
