As a sneakerhead I can't think of anything better than to have your dad right next to you and enjoying these new dropps just as much as you do. That's a relationship I would have loved to have with my pops. He was more interested in drinking alcohol and putting his hands on his us than anything else. It's such a crazy lineup this upcoming months for sneakers. I just got a pair of the satin bred 1s, and yes, they are fire. The quality of the shoe is insane.

dig this video!! that georgetown 5 is fire but the craft 5 is exactly the same as that material and still sitting online and on shelves but it's a cop for me for sure!
The slots on the AF1 outsole hold dirt because of the size of those slots. When you try to clean them you just make mud and it sticks in those slots giving them a more worn out look. The J1s don't have those big slots to collect that dirt. The only thing both these shoes do is turn colors on the outsole stitching.

to answer Pops’ question, the AF1 is just a more clunky shoe so u’re more likely to scuff. the AJ1 is more streamlined and easier to rock without scuffing. AJ1 > AF1
