I have 1 of these washing machines and I love it!!! But unfortunately my other family members are heavy handed, and only 5 months later, now it won't turn on, a ( u error) keeps coming up and I can't find the manual please help!!
I have one of these machines and I can say it is very quiet, however, it does not rinse enough. In order to get their stupid star rating up, they skimp on the water levels, and I find I have to rinse and extra couple of times on every wash.
We bought ours in 2013 and had the door seal fail within the first 12 months. Panasonic warranty fixed it. Now 10 years old (2023), just had the seal fail again. Seal price isn't too bad, but labour cost to replace (call out plus time for the job Panasonic appear to have made as laborious as possible) is absurd. Unless I replace it myself in a 10 year old unit, it triages new washing machine time. I know this much. It won't be another Pansonic front loader. I don't think they sell them in AU any more in any case. I've read heaps of horror stories about them, so getting 10 years out of ours I suppose we should coinsider ourselves fortunate?!
Want to have ongoing issues buy a Panasonic washing machine, 3 years old 2 pc boards, motor due to the nacho sensor that failed and the motor needs to be replaced to replace the tacho sensor bring a part of it that just clips on but Panasonic does not sell it as a part. And a flooded house due to a pipe that is too short causing it to pull out so it keeps filling. never again a Panasonic in my house and I use to work for them and was a huge supporter, none of the above were warranty so they don't even stand behind this junk. next fail ill buy another Bosch like I had before this mistake that thing is 21 years old and has not even needed a door rubber. the ex loves it, next to this 10kg blunder is a 16 year old Samsung 6kg front loader the new miss got before I met her it washes faster and cleaner and takes a bigger load before it goes out of balance, but it needs a door latch every now and then its had 3 in its life but at $15 and 5min to fit it myself. on a budget get a Samsung want something a. bit more eco friendly get a Bosch just don't get this junk.
I wouldn't buy another Panasonic front loader based upon our experience with ours despite having had a good run compared with many. (2 door seals in 10 years) From the noises I'm hearing now, I expect bearingn failure probably not too far off, and that's with relatively light use in a 2 adult only 'family'. I think true family use with a tribe of kids would have seen this machine self destruct an aeon ago. We got 17 year and 15 years respectively out of our last two American made Westinghouse and Whirlpool top loaders. The Westinghouse was still workign when we got our Whilepool, but was just tired so we triaged replacement rather than overhaul. The Whirlpool was still going strong, but the Mrs. wanted a flash new front loader becase A. they were the fashion, B. her friends had them. Got the Panasonic. Door seal failed the first year.
For crying out loud. How much tech needs to go into washing clothes ? Load your clothes, add detergent and set the controls . Done . A basic no frills machine will get the job done .
pat cola Call me crazy, but I think the foam bubble technology is actually pretty useful when it comes to washing your clothes. It’s able to do the job much better than just simple liquid detergent.
I was disappointet this machine does it work esp within spin.. my clothes not really dry

Also Panasonic aftercare very poor! Our washer failed just after 2 years and Panasonic not interested and wouldn't honour the 7 year warranty!
