This is ration number 6. We have heaters included rations just number 1-3 (for the front line). They are also include dried fruit, chocolate and chewing gum. Rations number 4-6 are for 2-3 lines of defence and barracks. We have a shortage of heaters, they are all imported((
Also, in my opinion, menu 6 is the least diverse. It's delicious, but it's: chicken broth, three types of porridge and beans. And everywhere: bay leave, carrot, onion. There are no tomatoes, sweet pepper, mushrooms, cabbage, like in other rations.
I'm ukrainian. I tasted with my wife and friends several packs. They are really good. Such a big pieces of meat! And from daily ration 4-5 persons can be fed. The only minus - breads had smell of old socks. And no translation. From other side you just opens one of packs and it will be tasty!
Thanks for watching and commenting! This particular ration had pretty good bread but I can see how that would be an item that could go bad if compromised.
I wish the American military would take a lesson from all the other foreign militaries MREs, especially Ukrainian ones and improve ours. That looked delicious!😛😊
@CamperTheFlow let me tell you a small painful secret, my friend- this tipe MRE was invented, developed and send to army a years before any cent of American taxes cross the border.
On my little oven, like yours, I have a piezo lighter. I turn the gas button until it clicks, which turns on piezo and gas. After that I just have to adjust the gas. No need to light it with ligher. Also, don't use to drink the boiling water that you use to heat the pouch.
It dosn't hurt anything. the boiling water kills any bacteria and the packets are designed for boiling. Its how soilders do it in the field to conserve water.
@@procaliberhq Hi, in the Canadian army, it was advised to avoid drinking this water, microplastic, intoxication stomach ache. Most of the time we had ration heaters who take much less water. Anyway, we never had time to heat them, most of the time, we ate them cold. Otherwise, thank you for the vids, it makes you want to buy this MRE. Peace
@@procaliberhq I guess they add the heaters in the winter when it gets properly cold. In summer temperatures can rise to 40C. But then again, I don't know if they'll differentiate the ration packs for winter and summer times. It'll be interesting to find out. I'll let you know what happens in the winter if my friends are still there. One is actually an engineer and was promised some type of engineering role.
