The manga is arguably better, as it expands on some points (Sal and Samekichi's relationship, Old and Meikai's relationship, Fukami being really violent) and has really great art. However, only about half of it has been officially translated as one omnibus, with the other half being translated in bits and pieces on tumblr and such. Maybe the rest will be released over here eventually, seeing as how DSP seems to be getteing over their "im going to make it hard for westerners to enjoy my stuff" phase (images are allowed on the wiki now).
DSP also said ages ago that they wanted to make a sequel to Wadda at some point, but nothing has been seen of any sequels or spinoffs aside from some illustrations of Minami and his familiars. Although, Mogeko Castle Gaiden seems to be far in development, which is rad.
