im surprised no one talked about The Promised Neverland. to say the 2nd season only diverged from the manga "a little bit" is a CRAZY understatement given that they skipped like 80ish of the chapters, including a really big fan favorite arc. the animation quality also dipped like crazy. it's fair to imagine that the falloff wouldve happened eventually, but with the amount of arcs they skipped, it happened immediately with season 2

Struggling in Fishman Island Arc? Really? Did we read/watch the same show? The main complaint in that arc is there were hardly any resistance for the Strawhats. The complain of people is that Hody and his crew are too weak and they just use drugs. And even with the use of the drugs they didn't scratch other character than Luffy. And Luffy is fighting underwater which should be much harder. Did you see Zoro one shot Hody, UNDERWATER? Zoro could have ended the arc there. I'm disappointed Peter. Bad take on that one.

The author also made a prequel Manhwa called Yongbi the Invincible, which I recommend reading either before Gosu or after the 1st season of Gosu.
One piece is my favourite series ever but I understand why people don't like how one-piece does a time skip or a story in post-time skip, in general, is because the crew never go full all out ever. Compare this to the early arc where the crew have to go all out every arc. There are a lot of sit-backs in every arc That is why Oda has to add more characters to make it more interesting. Im caught up for manga and at this point, in the current arc, the crew just show the full potential of their 2 years of training. Literally just arc before current arc that we see Robin use Full power from her training lmao I understand the frustration. However, my favourite aspect of Onepiece Time Skip is the world is moving alongside Luffy, If you are not World building junky like me it might not be interesting. For example, the Navy moves head quarter to the New World, There are new 4 emperors and new warlords, a New Admiral, The World summit starts soon, and an Important incident happens ( Rocky port) New faction//an illegal business happened because of what happened before the time skip. I like it because everything happens at once and It is easy to miss but the payoff of this thing is really satisfying to me. SPOILER*** For example, the "Rocky Port incident" was introduced at the same time as they introduced Traflaga Law. It only says that he is the mastermind but we just got more info about Black beard, Koby and the Ex-Rock pirate involved in that incident in the recent arc. the story that does not even involve the main character but affects the whole story. It's like saying Akatsuki fought with Kazekage in the time skip which resulted in Sand Village creating a giant wall to black them self of the world or something like that. Now for manga suggestion: this is really old ( super old) but "Ganbare Genki" is really good for Boxing manga

Peter, you can easily read the db&dbz mangas over a weekend. It's a pretty light read compared to others. After you read the manga, you should go watch the DBZ abridged from team4stars, it's a parody but they did such a great job, you'll enjoy it and get to watch the anime without the filler.

the timeskip in one piece is super important because after the war that luffy was involved in, it showed a glipse of what the new world was like. he understood he was not ready for it and decided to group up with the crew in two years instead. timeskips are not generic if you try to look at the reasons why they happen in the story.

It only says that he is the mastermind but we just got more info about Black beard, Koby and the Ex-Rock pirate involved in that incident in the recent arc. the story that does not even involve the main character but affects the whole story. It's like saying Akatsuki fought with Kazekage in the time skip which resulted in Sand Village creating a giant wall to black them self of the world or something like that.
Now for manga suggestion: this is really old ( super old) but "Ganbare Genki" is really good for Boxing manga

Peter, you can easily read the db&dbz mangas over a weekend. It's a pretty light read compared to others. After you read the manga, you should go watch the DBZ abridged from team4stars, it's a parody but they did such a great job, you'll enjoy it and get to watch the anime without the filler.

Now, this is a real podcast. Just talked about 5-10 mins. about random stuffs and then went on nerdy takes and weeb discussions, I love it. Please, more of stuffs like this. This is a good episode going back all the way from episode 3 even.
I think that if you preface your spoilers by saying you're going to talk about something spoiler-y, you're in the clear. It feels respectful to warn folks. Five years to warn people seems totally reasonable. But when people are posting clear photos within a week? They're just jerks. Especially on something like Discord! They have a spoiler image feature.

the timeskip in one piece is super important because after the war that luffy was involved in, it showed a glipse of what the new world was like. he understood he was not ready for it and decided to group up with the crew in two years instead. timeskips are not generic if you try to look at the reasons why they happen in the story.
