Once you hit that Park Assist button, you have activated it. The vehicle will then begin looking for an open parking space for the vehicle to park into. From there you will choose how you would like to park, hold down the Park Assist button and the vehicle will take care of the rest!

The braking can be a bit abrupt, but it's only a safety measure. The sensitivity can be adjusted in the settings if need be!
