At :51 his hand looks so freakin big it looks like his hand has a glove on that has Freddie Kruger fingers on it. That thing is just massive. If you just had a picture of his hand you would never guess that it was attached to 12 inch tall newborn baby monkey.
I think Calvin was a reject bc his mom got him back in one of these videos and it kinda like she is trying to get him to fall he was clinging to her butt and she just sits on a branch doesn't help him when he starts to slip it anything i think she wanted him to fall then casi wouldn't b so uoset and burdened. All the other monkeys know something is wrong with him u can see it in their reaction to him
I don't see where Casi is such a cruel mom.. She's obviously under tremendous stress from caring for two babies.. Yet she continues to hold this baby and not allow it to be put down.. As long as she's doing that, she's a great mother.. That's not her baby yet she is still feeding this baby and providing comfort. Something is clearly wrong with that baby.. I hope it survives but it may not..

So are you saying the vo's stole this baby from his natural mother? so how did Casi get him? and is she feeding the baby? I thought she just kinda ended up taking the baby when mom abandoned it.. He struggles with all the strength he has left but it is hardly lost, he goes into the background and in addition he is martyred by Casi who does not deny the bad guy! she has all the rights and abuses it as she wants. They put him on a blanket of sorts on the thick leaves where he fell and said she abandoned him. All for $$$ of course. Then they gave him to Casi because she has a baby and they said it would be a great idea . Hmmmmm From the marks on him she bites him a lot and I have read comments that she won't let him nurse. He is skinny but then again we aren''t there but the marked head says a lot. I think just because she holds him means nothing just instinct. Starvation is impossible for monkey like Calvin. We know that babies aren’t born starving, or at the very least they would be born proportionally starving to their mother. Christy and her jelly roles can be observed around the time of Calvin’s birth. It turns out that baby monkeys are born no bigger than a Coke can and in order to learn how to move through the trees they without much trouble they maintain a very thin profile. Calvin never gets down from Casi to drink any water. This means he got all of his needs met through the milk that Casi provided him. Had Casi not been providing him with that milk then dehydration would be the thing that kills him much much faster.
