With the 4.0, get a 242D out of the same model years Durango v8, as it is married to a 46re, so short input shaft already in and just swap over the 242j parts to connect it. Same as 242HD without having to swap out the input shaft.
I have a 1999 jeep grand Cherokee limited 4.7 my gauges, windows, and locks will stop working? and the key security light comes on, check engine light comes on, fuel gauge light comes on, and the cluster lights will stay on even when you shut off the vehicle and take the key out. Any ideas on what it could be?
Wassup bro , I have a 4.7 v8 n I changed my radiator a few months ago changed battery n radiator cap due to it having a leak, I come to find out tht the leak was coming from the water pump , I changed that out and everything is good but now the temperature rises slowly whn not moved n just turned on , once I give it a lil step it starts over heating quick w out moving can anyone help me out with this

The 1 1/16 is slightly loose so I can't take mine off.. so what is a little tighter than this ?
Standard parts been good for me on my WJ, duralast is crap.
