- Marinade for 10 mins.
1 kilo chicken wings
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
MIX
3 tbsp cornstarch
3 tbsp all purpose flour
1/2 cup water / 100ml
Sweet garlic soy sauce recipe:
soy sauce 3 tbsp
water 1 tbsp
brown sugar 4 tbsp or honey
butter 1 tbsp
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp black pepper powder

Tried this one earlier, super yummy niya thank u so much and oh I did add some lime anything citrus kahit calamansi pwede and a teaspoon of sesame oil. It turns out sweet with a slight tangy after taste. 😊😊

It's better to put salt in the flour/cornstarch. Salt gets more evenly distributed. She "marinades" for 10 minutes to let the salt melt and spread out but if you really want the seasoning to be even, you should season the flour/cornstarch.

The only thing I added to these recipe to make it taste more like Bon Chon is 2 tsp of honey and 1/2 tsp of ginger also didn't add water. You can control the thickness of the sauce with heat.

Deep fry ng 10-11mins with moderate fire if you want to have a crunchy chicken. So if twice frying, then 5.5 mins per cooking.
