Maple Lake is a neat town. Can't remember the bar but they make the best garnished Bloody with shrimp and the nines. And you're right, 2nd antenna on 60s Impalas are for symmetry.
You did a great job on this. I like how you opened with the train then panned over to the cars, very cool. I appreciate that you take your time and give us close ups and interesting angles.
Well, Matt - You did it again!! Another great video featuring classic cars - and more. I am exhausted just watching. (I hope you got some of that barbeque,) I was particularly struck by the number of Mercury's - chopped and channeled (bored , ported and relieved?) Not something oddly enough I would ever see at local PA or NJ car shows. And who ever heard of a "Grey" - got to look that one up. The old Buicks brought back lots of memories. My Dad owned a big old beautiful blue Buick which he let me drive to my first job - and which I promptly banged the hell out of. (Once I hit a bridge, another time took down a street sign,) Can't tell you the number of times I had to take it to a body shop. People sometimes say: "A dog is man's best friend." nostalgia
Love the 1958 Chevy. They are having a vintage car road trip stopping in our town this weekend . I can't wait. Have a great weekend, my friend. Blessings - Judith 🎵🎭
Hay Matt you are right that 33 Buick on the back passenger side that is a step to the rumble seat. The coronet had something about it maybe the price? 😂not a bad Scooby impersonation!
Hey Matt, Marlins we’re basically a sport fast back version of the AMC Rambler Classic and were produced for only three years. The last year in 67 used a larger Ambassador platform which had the stacked head lamps and grill of the Ambassadors, more distinctive in my opinion.
Matt the Supernatural show was a 67 Impala. 59 MGA owned one of those. Great show Matt. Lot of great sounds from all the headers on the Hot Rods. I also Had a 69 Vette as well 427 Black on Black convertible. The 58 Cadillac very pretty.33 Buick was awesome. The 69 Charger looked like the general Lee. The Gear Head car show has been great. Loved it Matt! 💯👍👊
Well excuse me, when I think of Mn, cold weather, rain, snow and salt come to mind, along with rusted, rotted out bodies, floor boards, brake lines and fuel lines. Must have to put out a little more effort so as to prevent the effects on the road at times from effecting some of those nice drivers I have seen here on this vid. @@SloppyJOLopys
@@brucegambill6303 I wasn't trying to be rude buddy! Yeah its hard to find a nice one up here, and if a guy does restore a classic from up here it takes more effort than it should. But after they are complete, we tuck them away for the winter months. Heck i dont even drive my brand new car in this soppy salty mess up here lol.
@@SloppyJOLopys Even before the 60s. With the weather, we just have to work a lil harder in MN. 'Back to the 50s' in MN is questionably the largest car show (12,000 cars) in the country with some of the biggest builds and restorations. Was blessed to grow up in St Paul before light rail on University Ave when every weekend was a car show in the summer. Porky's was legit.
@@R.J.1 yeah bro, i remember the Porkys days. Good times and awesome cars.. Back back in the days it was alot more fun on university, everybody would be doing burn outs and some stop light to stop light action. You still had to watch out for cops, but they were a little more relaxed on certain things too..
Awesome job there Matt look like a lot of fun I would have went but I was go wanted to go to the McLeod County Fair that Saturday they had a car show and I also got to see all animals that I like to see in the barns chicken ducks cows horses and then on Sunday I went to the drag races up in Grove City so thank you for taking me to the car show she was a hot one that day too thanks
