RP as a genre just attracts either the most chill or the most idiotic people possible. No in-between. Its either complete and total incompetence or some of the chillest people you will ever meet online.
I don't get the point of these servers. Everybody is so upset over anything that happens. Who plays an RP server as a cop wanting to do nothing but boring traffic stops? I would be thrilled if I got into a car chase with a crazed grenade wielding tow truck driver
basically someone decided to make money from kid so he make a server give rank to some random guys to manage the server while he does nothing and he make bank from people buying there disgusting "right" while getting bullied be other kid power tripping

you should try PGN, their roleplay is actually pretty cool and doesn't have as much pestering admins who go on a power trip when you say the most lighthearted thing.

Did your occasional chase- did quite a few traffic stops! But I always tried to make it fun. Got real in character, played along with people who turned the situations goofy. For example someone gave me a fake $100 bill and I let him go. He drove off and I found out it was fake, pulled him over again. He did it again and I let him go. Just tried to have fun with it, every cop was a bit too serious on that server. Was too power-trippy for me. I have the mindset of "If I'm put in a position of power, I should do everything in my power to make it fun for the players." I'd do the rare action of, the longer me and a person talked, or how long it took us to get to the jail. I'd take all that time off their sentence. If we chatted for twenty minutes, and they had a ten minute sentence. They were free to go ^^
The micro transactions in an old game that you pay to play is insane. Imagine paying real money to someone who did nothing to use something in the base game that you paid the creators of the game for
