So we've been through my BMX collection a couple of weeks ago, so I thought it was only right to go through my mountain bike collection. Mountain bikes have made up my career from leaving my office job in 1997 to race downhill, to managing a championship winning team for chain reaction cycles.
Nukeproof has been the main sponsor of the team for over a decade and in that time I've amassed a fair few bikes. Here are just a few of the bikes I've ridden and collected over the years.

What's the best race you've ever watched guys? Online or in person, let me know!!
Hey Nigel,
There is only one race.
Sam Hill in Champery
Of course!
Egg and spoon race in1979, east London. Paul looked like the clear winner but dropped the egg on the final approach, Edward and George were catching up, Edward tripped on his shoe lace and George took the win 👍🏻 your Barry Sheen bike tops the Ferrari themed ones 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Sounds thrilling, maybe we introduce an egg and spoon stage in the EWS. I'll message Chris Ball.
@@pager5996 it’s the one stage of the EWS that Rob Warner could win! He’s well in to eggs apparently...
haha
Favourite race I've watched was easily the final of the 2019 UCI downhill World Cup. Tense until the very last run, and Danny Hart got a win, was brilliant 💨
Amazing race, I love it when race series are fought to the very end.
@@pager5996 yeah it was mega, such a good race to see Danny win too, it had everything that!!
As far as 'watching' - Amaury Pierron's in Les Gets. The run and crowd made this especially amazing to watch on TV.
Was a great race, Les Gets is a cracking track.
What a collection! I just got hold of my first Mega aboy 3 weeks ago and I'm loving it! I'd like to see a video for each of these bikes being thrashed mate!!
Nice one, hope you like it. OK we'll try and get that done for you. :-)
@@pager5996 cheers dude! I'm absolutely loving the new bike. For a noob like me it's an absolute machine!! Take care dude
Best race ever watched in person was either the first Paris Bercy US Pro final won when Stompin Stu out-dragged Greg Hill on the last straight or Dale Holmes winning the World's Brighton 96 😁
Wow, would have loved to have been there for the Bercy race :-)
Les Gets 2019, best atmosphere and crowd I've ever been in.
2018 EWS finale Ligure Whalen Sam rode to 9th to claim overall title. Best display of riding hard and smart.
Hes a smart cookie
Danny Hart winning run Champery 2011 in the mud
Apart from my drunken commentary, sorry about that.
the chainless win from Aaron Gwin in Austria
Ace that was pagey! Always been a big fan of u dude! I was lucky enough to watch in person you and peaty race against each other at the national champs 1999 at eastridge dual slalom when u beat him lol top day that was 👍
haha thanks mate, I remember that. Didn't beat Peaty too often!
Aaron Gwin snapping his chain at the start gate in Leogang, Austria... and winning
Still can’t get my head around it
Takes some doing to win a World Cup anyway, without a chain is amazing. That said suspension actually works better as you're not getting kickback, well go over it in another video about suspension setup
Yeah that was amazing :-)
Yeah that’s a good point about the suspensions and I would love to see that video! Still it must knock your confidence that happening right at the start of a race
Red bull Rampage
For me it has to be Sam's race run at Champery
Champery is a wild place. It's definitely had its fair share of wild runs.
nigel you got any of your old rotwilds or old intense from the late 90s
Another video I like Nukeproof rules
I see u ride a medium Giga if u don’t mind me asking what is your height ?
Im 5'9
First Fort bill
Managed a 10th there mate
Geth beating the american pros at kellogs
