This car reminds me of my Mom’s ‘72 Grand Ville 2 dr. Hardtop. Her’s had the 455, gold color inside and out, with deluxe brocade cloth. It was wonderful to drive.
This is the base Pontiac model, whereas the Grand Ville was in the top drawer!

Canadian Laurentian/ Parisiennes with 350 or 400, had a THM 350.
I owned this exact same car for about 25 yrs which i paid $900 for it. All I did to it in that whole time was put the Pontiac mag rims on it with Pep Boys tires, change it to electronic ignition, put dual Flowmasters on it since it was no cat in 72 and rebuilt the turbo 400 tranny with a shift kit. The car was a beast and so much fun to drive. Sorry as hell I didn't invest a few more $$ into it and keep it💯%
My dad gave me this car when I moved from SD to Houston for my first major corporate job out of college. Mine had a rust finish with a black vinyl roof and the interior was a black and white Houndstooth fabric. Verry strange by today's standards. It was a fabulous vehicle and I was so proud of it until a stupid woman on meds t-boned me. I sued her but had to get rid of the car, which broke my heart. She was so high, she should have gone to prison, but she had a rich husband - like so many irresponsible women who ruin peoples' lives.

Sharp car, not a big fan of that particular type of green, but it doesn't effect the curb appeal that much. I would buy it, slap on some Pontiac Rally 2's with the same whitewalls and skirts, add a 4bbl (I believe these came with a 2bbl), a mild cam and duals.

My grandparents bought this car new in '72 only their Catalina was black over white w/black interior and PMD Ralley II wheels. They had a 400 4-barrel w/dual exhaust. That car could haul tail.
OMG that's a real rarity, a 72, factory stereo radio/tape deck, comfortron air, very nice, I'd put in the auxiliary gauges, & put wire wheel covers on it, then just leave it alone & enjoy!!
This had to be a special order car. I had a 76 Pontiac Grand Le Man's. Factory 8 track. AM-FM. It was 334.00 option then. Then you could order with out all packages, they started doing. Two unique options on the Catalina. Beautiful car! I love Pontiacs. We build excitement.
