Actually, it does make sense. The Big Boss has alway been a huge hit in Scandinavia. I think its one of Polaris best selling models there. The Outlander 6x6 is made in Finland and primarily for the scandinavian market. UTV on the other hand are just to wide and bulky for typical scandinavian "trails"
actually 1/3 power, the old Magnum 425 "15 years ago" had a good 25HP. the 425cc engine was the biggest engine of the day afterall. and even today these old 6x6s will out tow 800cc machines at an ATV Pull!
0:13 already have one Can Am, a 1997 Polaris Magnum 425 6x6 :D on a side not I am curious how this compares with the Big Boss, and I do find it odd that they release this now of all times with the heavily saturated UTV market including their decently good selling UTV. the Big Boss isn't the best selling model in Polaris's lineup after all mostly due to the Ranger
That will be my next atv I can't stand my sportsman 550 bc it's under powered and wore out I need a better mud bike and I love the outlander bc you can get a factory made stealth snorkel for all of the outlanders and 6 outlaws are way better than 4 :)
Polaris is mutch more heavy build than those plastic rockets canam.. and you say "real 6x6 on demand" the can am have no real 6x6 difflock. Just a clutch that thinks it smart but works like crap. My grizzly 700 with real lockable 4x4 beats canam sixbysix anyday
would be nice if a company produced one of these 6x6's with a quick release rear section so u could have a regular wheeler when u dont need a 6x6
