The original video had a typo in it. Thanks to Baccatube79 for pointing it out. This error has now been fixed. Sorry if this caused any confusion.

I'd be happy to testwatch for you. So my degree in German Language and Literatur could turn out to be useful, eventually

Usually I am better at proofing my own work, but this just hasn't been my week. I already have someone who helps me on the script writing end. If the script is right, the video should be, but the errors you have pointed out were just me not sticking to the script. A little deviation is ok, but not when it causes an error. I just need to take the time to actually watch the video more carefully once I have put it together, so I can catch these things myself.

@@MrLAntrim There is another quiet funny typo or switch up on the "SCH"-chart with Schlaf - sheep. It's a bit of a word play if you think about it. Schaf, Schlaf and sleep, sheep.

This fellow reminds me of Mr. Dressup when I was a kid)

I had to google Mr. Dressup, but it appears that he and Fred Rogers worked together before starting Mr. Roger's Neighborhood in which Ernie Combs (Mr. Dressup) was the puppeteer. Eventually he got his own show and became Mr. Dressup. After all of that, I'll take a Mr. Rogers/Mr. Dressup comparison any day. Mr. Rogers was amazing for my childhood and I hope Mr. Dressup gave you just as many fantastic memories.

can you explain when is 'r' pronounced like regular r as in English and when as 'gargling sound'.
    in Grieche , you said g & r separately.
r pronounced like an r but there are words where r is pronounced differently, like hard guttural sound.
I didn't understand how 'trinken' was pronounced: t-ginken?
