Really love your Khlong Saen Saep videos.. It brings my childhood memories back. Around 0:31 - 2:51 is the route that I often walked with my dad to go to the mall Bangkapi (by boat). If you turn left and walk for 5 minutes at 2:49, you will see a school (my mom and my dad are teachers there). And yes, those wooden plates are for when it's flooded. I still remember 7-10 yrs old me walking on those plates. Haha
We cycled this route in 2017 on our way to the Northern Bus Station, it was delightful! And now it looks even better. We were each carrying four panniers so climbing over those barriers was memorable.
Thanks for your tour bicycle , it's not easy to ride, you bring us to see the klong without you we can't see this nice tour, thanks to you one more time 👍👍👍✌️✌️✌️
I ENJOY YOUR VIDEOS VERY MUCH THANKS TO THE PANDEMIA I GOT TO KNOW MORE OF THAILAND AND I JUST LOVE WHAT I SEE I CANT WAIT FOR THE PANDEMIA TO END SO I CAN GO AND VISIT THAILAND IT IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY
Nice ride along the Khlong Saen Saep. It's really beautiful in some places with all the plants and flowers. We used to take the taxi boat from Prince Palace Hotel to Saphan Hua Chang or Pratunam and maybe even once to Wireless road but thats it. Nice tour and nice video.
I used to cycle on the same klong when I worked in Bkk. It is interesting, and much safer than the roads! I found that the closer you get to the CBD the worse the smell of the klong was. Perhaps that has improved in the Covid period?
Been to thailand 2 years ago and one of my unforgettable moment is when I encountered a big snake sleeping at the side walk (heading to Chulalongkorn University)
Wow..very enjoyable bicycle tour...me too love cycling.. it's looks so nice..passing through beautiful garden...water canal...great 👍 video.from where u started..starting point???
Another great video keeping us all in touch with all things Thai and Bangkok ! If you do some video in the Bang Rak district it sure would be great ! Have stayed in the Shangri-La Hotel a few time but not had a lot of time to explore due to in transit home to Scotland but will have more time on next visit due to retirement recently! There is great food at a place called “Jacks Bar” on the the river and have live music on the evening 👍
I just hope that the municipality would construct more sloping paths for bicycles to cross than to have small bridges. 20:40 I don't know why the bridge must be raised that high when no big boats passing through this Klong.
Very nice video, offers a different perspective on the city. I have read many times that cycling can be tough in BKK but from this video it looks ok, although maybe not for everyday commuting? Do you know if it would possible/legal to skateboard on those same paths? Thanks
Hello, Please try to ride in Ayutthaya province a historical park Rama 1 and world heritage too. If you want to come, just let me know I will be the host for you. You come to Ayutthaya by train which start from Hua Lampong Station to Ayutthaya Station. Hope to see you in my hometown soon one day.
I'm really sorry there are so many motorcycles and bikes in the way. Hope the municipal officers encourage people along the canal not to park their vehicles on the public ways. I'm surprised you know about Thai lottery-buying habit really well >_
that was a nice video, I liked especially the and, with te lizard!
Like the water monitor lizard. Catching up with some old videos.

Most peaceful and beautiful city.

Thanks for the great virtual tour of the canals of Bangkok. Good to start the day. Stay healthy.👍
This klong was dugged by hands. Very nice 👍
Always a cool ride although some bits are really more like an obstacle course.
Ciao jeroen I like canal saen saep🙏👌.. The security man with monster face scared me a lot ☠️🧟♂️
Very cool!...thx..I'll have to check that out when I am back in town (Nov. hopeful!)

Been to thailand 2 years ago and one of my unforgettable moment is when I encountered a big snake sleeping at the side walk (heading to Chulalongkorn University)
Nice. Good job. Shall go look out of the canal..

Started a live stream from Jack's Bar a while ago. Unfortunately not much to do from this weekend onwards. ua-cam.com/video/SuouSp-4n4A/v-deo.html

Those are banyan trees. ต้นไทร or Ton Sai in Thai.
Ohh 😮💕, where's the ☔.
Nice! Where are you gonna cycle next?
👍👍👍
How did you ride in a narrow space, salute
would love to see the walkthrough at green mile!
Thanks for sharing. Whats the name of the plants in all those pots?
Edit: Who's watering all these pots in dry season???
Very nice video, offers a different perspective on the city. I have read many times that cycling can be tough in BKK but from this video it looks ok, although maybe not for everyday commuting?
Do you know if it would possible/legal to skateboard on those same paths? Thanks
I think from a legal standpoint a skateboard should be no problem. Commuting with a bicycle, might be an option if you have a shower where you work,
Hello my friend
In Thai we call Ton Sai (plant you like and mention it)
Can I ask if Saphan 55 opens for dinner? Can I get to the place via BTS Thonglor? Thanks☺️
Sa was dee clud
A tree called Cai
Is it expensive to own and operate a car in Bangkok? I noticed petrol is more expensive there than in Malaysia but the Thai made cars are cheaper.
I used to enter the Electrolux building. About car insurance 😅
Have you already visited the Green Mile?
Wow! Is that a baby crocodile?
Nope! That's a baby water monitor, it's Thai name means money spinner^~^
Feel frrrrreeee to disturb monitor lizards 🦎🙏😜
Who made de documentary about the tempel execution ?

I noticed that there are no washrooms anywhere, so do you just pee into the canal in an emergency?? Just asking.
