I thought it wasn't opening until the 14th of July? Or did you guys get in for some media preview or something? It looks awesome, I was not expecting it to have a launch section!
This coaster is perfection... it's like the combination of Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Expedition Everest, and Big Thunder Mountain, creating one totally kick ass thrill ride. I adore the backwards drop and the launch, alongside the awesome themeing and clever gags. I should really start saving for this Hong Kong trip...
This thing is SICK... HKDL FINALLY has something worth going for. Now I have to decide whether to wait for my family to come back from China or just have an early sneak peek... decisions decisions :P
I would love to see this at DCA, would fit in with Grizzly river Run and could take over tired challenge trail property. We have a park we can be proud of!!!!
But right across the way from Disneyland there is another Grizzly Peak! It won't work. I hope they redo Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland to maybe something more similar to this in terms of effects and ride experience. I can totally see that happening :)
(Read response first) Because Grizzley Peak is right across from Disneyland. And where all the bear scenes are could be 'Ghost' scenes because i heard that part of the story to the ride is that a miner died in BT some how and now runs the train through the caverns with tourists on it. Plus Disney already has 2 rides that includes ghost so why not have another one? But for teens like TTZTOT. THM Is more for children or the elderly. Frontierland needs an update anyway.

i really wished one of the American Parks had this, but Disneyland Hong King really needed this

Pretty cool! Longer than I expected.
When the cable broke and the car went backwards really took me by surprise. This looks like a promising Thunder Mountain spinoff.
