WOW I am not surprised of your baby scotchies progress. They are turning into teenagers fast. My seedlings 🌱 are doing great too, the leaves are humongous and ready for the ground. I have to say that the germination rate was over 75%. Kudos 👏 to your seeds they were planted, reaped and shipped with love ❤️
Beautiful peppers. 😍 Red party cups are the only way to go and they can be reused several years. Just started watching from south western Virginia. Learning where and what I can.
I think my peppers are gonna want to party in the red cups too in a few more weeks.🎉 I did get your Scotch Bonnet pepper seeds, and 1 has germinated so far. However, I just watched your video on how you start them in the paper towels. I'm thinking I'm gonna try that too and see if it gets a head start on a few more seeds. Thank you for these shares.
Those look amazing! I used the last of my scotch seeds last year, didn’t save any and forgot to order new ones for this year lol, good times. Happy growing y’all!
I lost my 8-year-old scotch bonnet bushes this past winter, but 8 years, what a run! Lift your scotchies in the late fall and put them into large pots and bring them inside. Keep them above 50 and while they MAY lose their leaves towards the start of spring, they WILL re-leaf and keep going!
That's a bummer. We do have scotchie seeds that you can get at the link above. Not sure when your growing season starts though so you may have to gauge if you have enough time to get them to grow to a good size in time for your season
@@humbleservantshomestead7974 Yes! I remembered y’all sold some! Ordered tonight along with some soap and callaloo! I grow 24/7 with my green house and grow room in my house!
@@ourgeorgiasuburbanhomestea6309 though we do grow some in pots as well, we always let them die off each year and start a new crop the following. We dont really have the time or space to bring them inside currently without a greenhouse in place. Maybe that will change this coming year.🤞🏽
Beautiful! Wow have they grown! You remind me of a very proud parent w/the peppers. 🤣👍 But I can relate! Nice. How are the puppies doing btw?? Can’t wait to see more vids. You always have a beautiful garden. May the good Lord bless you with a bountiful harvest !
I just got your seeds in the mail, and plan to start them next weekend because the 400 peppers I started in March are taking up all the space! Wednesday night is the last night with temps under 50... so those will go into the ground and yours into the starting tray! I cant wait to try your peppers! What are you feeding them at this size in solo cups?
@@humbleservantshomestead7974 this is my first year growing superhot peppers, as I was requested to by some people who buy from me... So, also for the first time I am going to try to isolate seed from these peppers so I dont have to buy it every year! I will probably do a video on that. I did a video series on three ways to germinate pepper seeds, and have identified a fast way to germinate them. Your seeds will be started in 100 percent fine horticultural vermiculite on a heating mat set to 75, under a double dome. I'll keep you posted on their progress once I can move what's in my little greenhouse out into the yard -- which is Thursday morning. Be well! LOVE the name of your channel, btw.
How old are those trees..Mine about 2 weeks and mine are like just born.. They are on the outside but not directly in the sun. Mine is in party cups too.
I successfully hardened off my peppers thanks to your video. Then I wondered aif it will grow faster and I took it back inside placed under artificia light. I want to move it back to outside again. Do I need to harden off once more?
We will be sowing our callaloo this coming week! We have a chilly night tonight that we are waiting on to pass so that we can ensure our callaloo gets the best start possible.
Hi humble servant I thoroughly enjoy your episode and scotch bonnet however you miss certain details in terms of what you feed your scotch bonnet and callaloo these are details that is very important to us as a beginner please respond
We actually cover those details in the previous scotch bonnet update video. We show the soil mixture we used and we also stated that we feed with 511 fish fertilizer. The measurements are 1 tablespoon to every gallon of water mixed. We water from the bottom to saturate the roots instead from the top.

They are beautiful. What are you feeding them besides water?
We mix a tablespoon of 511 fish fertilizer in 1 gallon of water about once a week or so.
So I'm in Zone 7b & I have your callaloo, scotch bonnet seeds along w/2 plants. All are doing well. When do you sow your callaloo seeds?
We will be sowing our callaloo this coming week! We have a chilly night tonight that we are waiting on to pass so that we can ensure our callaloo gets the best start possible.
Ok good. Since I'm 7b I was planning on sowing the 1st wk of May. Are you guys zone 8a or 8b?
I would buy all of your seedlings instead of growing my own . Your seedlings are beautiful. Do you sell through the mail?
