Have you counted how many times I said "and" during this video? 😀 however, I decided to leave it like that in order to learn from it and to see the differences in the future 😁
@@Kunita1 HI Kunita, I wish you all the best with your UA-cam journey. Yes, it is very funny. Because I do presentations almost every day for the consulting company, but when it comes to UA-cam I talk again as a new one in the field. But it is important to notice what you can improve with each video. Imagine coming back to the first videos in 1 year and see the big differences :)
That's so interesting about the ads. I am also a small channel and was going to experiment with ads but I don't think I'll bother now. I'm happy with my views so far and hope it continues. Good luck with your channel, Daria!
Hi Corinne, I analyzed many channels and in the most part of cases the first 8-12 months the growth is very difficult. Even Ali Abdaal told that he needed 6 months to get his first 1000 subscribers. That's why I think it is better to grow organically. However, it was good to make a try at the beginning, where it cannot influence your channel that much maybe :) And when you are still experimenting with videos. Wish you all the best as well!
Grateful for my 152 awesome subscribers! 🥰🙌 Your support keeps me going every day. Tough times come and go, but I’m here to stay, growing and improving for all of us. Let’s keep the journey going! 💪💫
wish you all the best with your UA-cam Channel! keep going! Let's support each other ;) I saw a couple of weeks ago the story about the most important Tech Blogger with 19 Mln subscribers Marques Brownlee. I saw a video of him where he was doing his 100th video and had something like under 100 subscribers 😂 So it was really motivating!
Okay the thing about cameras and microphones is that while they do help with video quality, the environment will almost always make or break the quality. Not trying to direct you to my channel but my videos are shot with my iPhone 13 Pro and a cheap MOVO vxr10 shotgun mic that costs 40 USD. My videos are shot in cinematic mode with the iPhone just so I can get a shallower depth of field but it can only go up to 1080p. What’s most important though is that i have a solid light on my face and the room is quiet with little echoing. In this video you have good lighting but the room doesn’t have enough sound absorption materials, like carpets, sofas etc. I shoot my videos in my bedroom so the bed absorbs a lot of the sound. Lighting and acoustics are the first step to upping that quality, the second step is good editing for color grading and sound design. I used both the free and paid versions of Davinci Resolve for color grading and sound design, and it’s really good. Anyway maybe I’ll make a video about this instead of rambling in your comment section 😅
Thank you for your tips. I watched also a lot of videos of the most famous UA-camrs at the beginning, and their quality was very low, even those who started 1-2 years ago. I think first it is important to provide more content quality and then work on the image. It all takes time and a lot of practise, I think :) it depends also on the topic, some topics are trendy and blow up in a couple of weeks even without a good editing and some have a perfect editing and need time to work :) I have a lot of stuff in my room but it doesn’t absorb the echo, that’s why I put the mic in front of me now and the problem is solved. tell me when you publish your video, I’ll watch it for sure ;)
good luck on your journey! your background quality and setup is awesome. btw theres a bit of echo so if youre using a shotgun mic then bring it closer and lower the sensitivity. other than that your vid looks очень профессионально 👍
Hi thank you so much for your advise. I have a RODE Go II, it is attached to the camera. I will try to put the mic closer ;) Need to but something to leave it maybe somewhere on the top. Спасибо!
thank you! I watched some similar videos as well and found them very useful. I find it very nice when people share their experience so it can be helpful also for other people ;) 1+1=11 ;) Additionally, it is nice to see the progress between the videos :)
Well Daria, I have a lot to say but long story short..I like your vision about your channel and the information you shared , I highly appreciate it...and being a non youtuber what i believe in is your contents....so yeah just wanna say keeping doing what you're doing ..put awesome contents, develop connection and who knows one day maybe you'll be there where you want to be....and please don't think about subscribers or anything..Just have faith in yourself coz if someone experienced the journey from being a waiter to owning their own hotel , they definitely knows how to be patient..so again wish you all the luck and I do appreciate the effort😊😊
Thank you Vikash for your comment. I see UA-cam now as a source of self development and improving. There are so many things to learn and they can be only beneficial for my personal growth. I didn't expect this :) So I'm really happy that I started. ☺️
Same Here. I STARTED this channel 10 days ago. I am experimenting how UA-cam works. Never shared the content in any platform. I let it go organically. I have got 3 Subscribers. My watch hour is 3.8 and my CTR is around 8.5. I will comeback here when I hit 1000 subs Organically. My timeline is 2 months. 50K in 6 month. 200K IN A YEAR. Wish me luck!
I wish you all the best for your UA-cam journey. As I also mentioned in my video, I'm sure it is one of the most wonderful sources for personal growth, there are so many things to learn and to enjoy. So I see it like this. And when you see people's feedback it is something that you cannot describe, it gives you a lot of energy ❤ Let's hear each other at the first 1000 :)
Quite the same situation here. I have 230 subscribers, I have a similar accent and I tried to build a parallel channel in french (but then decided to focus on this one). I wish us luck !
I saw many UA-camrs with different accents, and it is wonderful that you can communicate in English from every part of this world. There is Guillaume Moubeche who has succeeded on Instagram with his wonderful French accent and now he is starting his French account :) I would also like to do something in Italian or Russian in the future. Now I'm more concentrated on my skills to develop and to get better on this channel ;)
Nice video! Really enjoying your content…. I also just started my UA-cam channel about a month ago and it’s growing pretty steady… I’m just a couple subscribers away from being monetized now. It’s been a really interesting process and have learned so much along the way. Keep up the great work! :))
Thank you for your comment. Wow! It is a wonderful achievement in only 1 month! Bravo! Wish you a lot of success in your UA-cam journey! ;) I'll also try to do my best. I didn't expected many things. Because I used to talk in front of many people and it is much more difficult to talk in front of a camera 😂😂😂
I watched a video about framing, apparently there's a rule of 3rds according to which you don't have enough space between the top of your head and the top of your frame. Being autistic it all makes no difference to me, but looking to start my own channel that's pretty consistent advice I've found.
You need to know your audience and what exactly that you are focusing on such as stories about your life or tip and trick stuff. The more videos the better, UA-cam algorithm will test out your videos and find the right audience. Be yourself and confident about what you want to accomplish 👍.
Hi, thank you for your comment and your advise. I knew from the beginning on what I would like to talk about, what means about my journey in consulting, business, about how I went to a hotel owner at 33 and as well as about what helps me to be productive and disciplined. ;)
I only do shorts and i feel like it goes decent for me. Tried paying for ads, both on insta and youtube. But for me on youtube it were just a waste. Insta ads did good tho. Growing slowly and getting decent amount of viewers 😁
thank you for your precious advice. Yes, I also think it would be the right way and the ads just ruin the stats. UA-cam algorithm needs a lot of time to understand the topic of a channel. And I think maybe it also checks if someone posts consistently to give more visibility. But who knows. I'm watching always more and more videos about it and it is a wonderful world to be learnt, very useful for personal growth ;)
It needs time, there are some important UA-camrs who didn't have much success in the first years and then it took off. I think it needs time. See also Nischa as example, the first 9 months nobody watched her and then her channel just blew up and she has 1,3 mln subscribers ;)
Have you counted how many times I said "and" during this video? 😀 however, I decided to leave it like that in order to learn from it and to see the differences in the future 😁
It's fun to come back later and see the progress one made. I do the same in my videos (new UA-camr too) 😅
